  1. I mean, the offense was going to have to put up 4 to win tonight in my book. And still long way to go. I would have taken this every single time getting into the late innings.
  2. Two thoughts: 1) this is the first year where Yelich's bad defensive metrics make sense to me. 2) there may be some advantage in throwing Topa and Rasmussen given that the Dodgers haven't seen them.
  3. I don't know. David Phelps says "Hold my beer." Not only was Phelps pretty good while he was here, his implosion after he got to the Phillies is probably the reason why the Brewers have a spot in the playoffs. Hahaha. I hadn't thought of it like this. Awesome.
  4. Did Arcia play CF once, or am I inventing that? His desire to get to everything would make that a total adventure, and it would be fun in a bad season.
  5. This season is the drawback of Stearns approach. It feels like the offensive philosophy is all about finding a boatload of 1-2 WAR guys and just winning with depth. Yelich plus above average. Problem is, it's real easier for 1-2 WAR guys to be pretty bad over 60 game stretches.
