Yup. And I think especially had for MBB as a whole. Super conferences mean more stratification, more transferring up, fewer chances for A10 or WCC schools to build programs, and, ultimately, more mediocre power conference schools in the NCAAT.
Yeah, maybe I'm just weird, but I really like the uniforms. The colors are great, it's nice to see something different, and it's way better than, say, the camo flourishes on holidays IMO.
But, yeah. Winning in them is most important.
Tonight looks like the toughest matchup on paper, but with the way the Jays hit, any of them could turn ugly.
Steal one tonight, and I'll feel pretty okay overall.
Echoing the happiness about a split. I think the Brewers are more talented than the Cards overall, so my feeling is the Brewers will outplay them in the 143 games they don't play each other. Taking 12 of the other 19 off the board is a good thing.
Williams was nasty and efficient there. What an awesome inning.
The one upside to injuries to starters is that maybe, just maybe, some of the bullpen pieces have shown big-time promise and effectiveness. The pitching is very deep and will hopefully be fully healthy come October.
Add-on runs please. It is really crazy how even these teams have been. Am I just terrified of the Cards, or does it seem like the Brewers have been outplayed in the 12 games so far and are lucky to be 5-6?
How did the Bucks win that game? I am still stunned. Giannis hits two 3s. Portis clutch. Jrue with incredible defense.
Celtics must be wondering what hit them.
Whoever said Portis needed more 4th quarter minutes was right on. Good adjustment from Bud going Pat C for Allen and Portis for Lopez.
Basically an even quarter, but it felt a lot worse.
See if the Bucks can do what the Celtics have been doing in 4th quarters. I sort of feel like this series is going seven whatever happens, and the Bucks will regret handing the Celtics home court to avoid the Nets. I have doubted this team way too much over the last two years, though.
Celtics were certainly more desperate tonight, and it showed. I mean, y'all said it. It's clear Gianni's and Holiday are all on their own offensively. Without a big game from somebody else, it's trouble.
Really didn't have a sense for today's game, but thought Stroman would be able keep the Brewers out of it offensively. Curious to see how long Ross sticks with him. Still feel like the Crew can win it late.
On to Pittsburgh.
The Brewers are a good baseball team. They are often not fun to watch hit, but they'll win a lot of games.
You just have to be okay in April. Brewers have been pretty good. I'll take it and hope we get on a run against Cincy and Pitt in the coming weeks.
