  1. Thank god for Reddit streams... This Dish Network thing has till Monday to get settled. No way I can stay with Dish with no Brewers or Badgers.
  2. I am weirdly disappointed with this as I think it means Supak isn't coming up to MLB. They didn’t rush Hiura, to a fault even, I just couldn’t see them bumping Supak from AA to the bigs.
  3. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/page/Buster201907251/revisiting-worst-deadline-trade-your-team-ever-made ESPN Article that has worst deadline deal for each team. Grades purely on WAR. I find it really interesting to look back on all these trades.
  4. I was just reading about it and looked through the box score. I really can't see what he screwed up and nobody seems to know what the stink was all about either. All umpires conferred on it and they called New York so I can't believe they actually got it wrong. What it was. Fair enough, I keep getting just busy enough at work that I can't punt 10 minutes into figuring it out...or at least I don't want to. I just naturally assume Hernandez making a mistake is most likely. You and everyone else. Everything I've read is basically "I don't know what happened but if Angel Hernandez is involved he obviously screwed up." They did exactly what the Cubs have done. Put a pitcher from the mound to the field, then back to the mound. The issue was they did it while retaining the DH, which shouldn’t be possible.
  5. Did they give Albers the win? I would think they'd give it to Hader. it's up to the scorekeeper right? MLB app says Albers
  6. Freddy’s movement and deception must be crazy. He put two fastballs in a row pretty much middle middle to Votto and Votto couldn’t square em up.
  7. Length of staying in contention is why I flipped to hoping we sell this year. I just see no way we can match up with the Dodgers in a series even if we make the playoffs. To do so we would need multiple arms, which would gut what’s left of our system. That puts us as make or break this year, maybe next if the arms have multiple years left. To me, the better option is to sell Moustakas and Grandal. This lengthens our competitive window out. We will have money to spend this summer, along with getting Knebel, Wahl, Suter back and possibly more development from Burnes, Peralta, Houser, etc. To me this isn’t our all in year, we have a chance to be more competitive in the next 1-3 years by selling this year.
  8. I don’t know, Jeffress wasn’t locating well. So you walk Suarez and if you miss like that to VanMeter you prolly still get away with it. If you don’t like Jeffress throwing to a lefty get Claudio. Either way better than pitching to Suarez and letting him beat you. I’m not a fan of putting the go ahead run on first base. I’m generally not either but such a huge difference between Suarez and VanMeter that it made sense.

  10. That’s just it, with Puig in the game I get it. Not with a .236 hitter behind him. Just absolutely no reason to pitch to Suarez, NONE.
