  1. That pitch was about 6 inches off the ground…
  2. The FA market value of WR was set crazy high this off season. I don’t think a “sensible” long term contract is an option. With what WR are getting, it makes no sense to trade for a 1 year rental you can’t resign.
  3. I’ve only seen a small sample this year, but seems like Brewer hitters are seeing a very low amount of pitches per AB.
  4. The first time this year I can catch most of the game, just walked in to this… woof. On a positive note I’ll see most of the bullpen….
  5. Looks like it will clear out by about 7:30… ☹️
  6. These ads are a bit over the top. There’s literally an add between every post on my phone, and pop ups on the bottom. Seeing post, ad, post, ad, when the ads are often the same one over and over is brutal.
  7. Kind of what they’ve done in recent years, but with the DH in place, how many bench bats will actually get used? Think this is a spot where the DH affects roster construction.
  8. Nelson Cruz? Brewers were linked to him in some rumors.
  9. Right now on the opposite side of the bracket from the Heat, 76ers, and Nets. Can’t ask for more than that. Hard to say how it all shakes out.
  10. Is Adames hurt? See he left the game before taking an AB. If he’s hurt our left side of the IF is brutal.
  11. The pitchers would have been throwing through the lockout. They are professionals, they know how to condition their arm. I'm sure when they were making 2-3 inning starts right away, it's because that is where they were in their program. Major league teams aren't going to rush guys innings.
  12. It's a website that streams every MLB game completely free, and you have the option to listen to home or away announcers. Just google search for "mlb 66" and it will come up. When I'm on my cell phone, sometimes when I first click on the game I get redirected to a pop up ad. On my TV it freezes maybe once a game and I have to hit refresh and it is fine. Outside of those two things, literally every game that I watched last year was streamed from that website. Even when I'm not home, I pull it up on my phone and check in from time to time. Last year I would check in on other games when there was a no-hitter going or something like that. It's up for spring training games. In the afternoon once there is a game started you should be able to pull it up and see how it works. I watched the Brewers for a while yesterday on it. If there was an option to get the Bally's App for $20 a month or something like that, I would gladly pay it. For now, I will continue to use that site instead of paying $80+ per month for the direct TV streaming option.
  13. I still use mlb66 to stream games. It shows every game with an option to choose home and away broadcast. I thought it was an illegal site at first even though they claim not to be. However, it’s been up for at least two years. Illegal sites are constantly getting shut down and switching domains, for this one to show every game for 2+ years I think they found some loophole. I watched the ST game today for a few innings to see Ohtani. For now free beats the direct tv streaming price.
  14. Second unit got lit up to end the first quarter in Brooklyn. Come playoff time they can’t play with Lopez and Giannis off the court at the same time for very long. Miss the pick and roll D, although not many matchups as hard to guard as Durant.
  15. Yep, looking at what they got, there is no way #10 was in play.
  16. Reported that the Jets have offered 10 and 38 for Tyreek Hill. That would make 22 and 53 not look so great.....
  17. The last appearance he started and threw 2 innings. The recap article on the Brewers website was titled “Perdomo makes pitch for Brewers rotation.” It sounded like the plan was to stretch him out as a starter.
  18. Was odd to see Perdomo throw an inning today. If they are stretching him out, innings go up not down. With the roster, I know they have kept more bench guys on opening day the past few years. This year with the DH, I’m not sure there’s any benefit to that.
  19. Designing a contract to protect a player financially from an impending sexual assault suspension is pretty disgusting. Doesn’t surprise me one bit, but still pretty low.
  20. I won’t be surprised if Adams puts up big numbers, the Raiders willing to sling it around at times. He’s going to be no where near as efficient, and have no where near the team success he’s enjoyed in GB.
  21. Glad they didn’t pay that contract to a WR, wish he was traded to a team drafting higher than 22. Seems like a lot of talent heading to AFC.
  22. Real small sample size, but they don’t really struggle without him. Probably need to sign a WR and draft a couple, but a deeper more balanced WR room isn’t a terrible thing. Can’t spend that much on RB/WR
  23. Adams traded to Raiders for 2 draft picks.
  24. The term “all in” keeps getting thrown around. Yes, they are all in financially, but this looks much different than the Rams all in. We are jumping through hoops just to bring back most of our own guys from a team that didn’t get it done. We’re not adding multiple big name FA to put us over the top.
  25. My family always stopped in that area, but you are correct, I’m not trekking up to the terrace to visit it. Instead of a featured area, I feel like it will become an afterthought up there.
