  1. Um, what just happened? Perdomo not hurt because he was high fiving guys in the dugout. He didn’t face 3 batters.
  2. Looks better than he throws. If he wasn’t a Cub I’d buy a jersey just because of that sweet stache and perm. Like a poor mans Rod Beck!
  3. FS1 broadcast just said McKinney was one of the pieces Cubs used to acquire Chapman. Did not know that connection. He’s going to get a start or two if he keeps hitting.
  4. You want Hiura to get a second consecutive day off after the only successful game he's had this season? I understand wanting to load up on lefties, but most people were frustrated that Hiura was off yesterday following a big game, let alone two days in a row.
  5. Spring OL depth chart has a few surprises as well. LT: Beach/Brown LG: Seltzner/Sampson C: Lyles/Bortolini RG: Nelson/Furtney RT: Bruss/Wedig For as high as he was rated coming in, it's kind of disappointing that Brown has not been able to secure a starting spot yet. With Tippman not even on the two deep, that's a step back for that OL class. Really surprised to see Jack Nelson listed as the starter at RG. Not that I doubt his ability, just very early in the process for him to claim a starting spot. It is just spring ball, so I know a lot can change by the time they take the field in the fall.
  6. I have Woodruff and Hendricks on my fantasy team, and I bet on the under (9). So if this is a high scoring affair in which neither starter factors into the decision, then I take the blame.
  7. I think Stearns and Counsell communicate enough that something like this is impossible. How can communication be so bad the GM gets so bothered by a managers use of a player that he has to ship them out of town? I just can't fathom that. The former could certainly be true though. ... because it happened in Moneyball. Not to say that it has never happened before in real life, but the movie shed light on it probably as an exaggeration of what really happened.
  8. Guessing part of this was the need to add a pitcher in the coming days and not wanting to lose McKinney. This allows an arm to be added in Arcia's place.
  9. This honestly baffles me. He's now had 22 file, 19 support him, and 1 do a story that she was assaulted but not filing. That's already 42 different women just that have made public statements. It looks pretty bad just that he's used that many different massage therapists. If you don't have issues with them, I would think a normal person would use 2-3 different ones... maybe... The sheer volume of therapists that he's used is incredibly odd.
  10. The past month social media filled with complaints about lack of viewing options. We’re not even three games in and just saw two separate posts trying to figure out how to cancel their ATT TV, lol. The hot take is they aren’t worth $80/month! Even with the big opener from Shaw it’s looking like we still may have glaring holes at 1st and 3rd...
  11. The site I use had Brewers team O/U at 3.5 so I went over. Seems low in general let alone vs a starter they’ve had some success against. Let’s go Sunday lineup!!!!
  12. Only if it’s directed at Arcia, Sogard, or Andy Haines. Since Sogard plays for the Cubs now it has to be directed at him only when he does something good.
  13. Brewers hitters don’t have a very good track record against Maeda. Let’s hope Woodruff is on his game. Glad to have baseball back. Spring Hopes Eternal!!!!!!
  14. I think Devin Williams and Rasmussen would still qualify this year. I thought the cutoff was 130 AB or 50 IP which they are both under. EDIT: Actually probably not. They can't be over 45 days on the active roster in a previous year(s). That requirement they are probably over, but I have no clue how to find that.
  15. Taylor hasn’t officially been sent down yet has he?
  16. A part not mentioned much was every team needs to play overseas at least once every 8 year cycle. I believe the Packers are the only NFL team to not have played overseas yet.
  17. Can't go 162-0 if you don't start 26-0.... just sayin. I'll go with 14-12 as my actual guess.
