Brewers are: 10-3 against Reds 3-1 against Marlins 4-2 against Phillies 5-5 against Cubs 2-4 against Diamondbacks 2-5 against Giants I guess we should cheer for Cincinnati and Miami?

I am not interested in jinxing any Wild Card Series result. If we win the opening round, we will play the Dodgers. Milwaukee is 1-5 against Los Angeles this year. Brewers are 13-21 against the Dodgers since 2018 (regular season). They ended our seasons in 2018 and 2020. Dodgers have a great lineup. For the excitement of how many rookies would contribute in Milwaukee in 2023, I was mildly surprised to see the Brewers have only used 7 rookies this year. Granted, many are getting meaningful playing time. The team record is 16 rookies in 2015. Caratini needs to catch for someone. If Corbin legitimately is more comfortable with Victor, it seems fine to me.

Ranger Suarez pitched especially well in August with 2.45 ERA in three starts. He is coming off the injured list after missing his last few starts due to hamstring strain. Suarez is prone to walking batters and strikes out less than a batter per inning.
