I wish our guys would take a page out of what the Cardinals do = be patient at the plate. Aren't we the worst in the majors striking out?? Its difficult to move runners along when you are striking out at a ridiculous rate.
-
GMTA I was just thinking perhaps Garza should go to the bullpen. I really don't want to see him starting any longer.

Standings following the Western road trip
Pugger replied to Est1970's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Of course several of our big hitters are in a slump and we couldn't take advantage of their pitching situation. -
Haha no he should do what people did with his jersey after he got caught. Go from "BrauN" to "FrauD". I'd get a good laugh out of that. Why not just "Brauny"?
-
Darn it! When I saw The Chicken have Braun hit in that situation I just knew he was gonna strike out. Why not try Aguilar there??
-
It drives me crazy how often we strike out. Don't we lead the bigs here?

Good.

Why wouldnt they resign him? He isn't even eligible for Free Agency until after 2021. I can't imagine they would non tender him. I saw we signed a one year contract, that's all.
-
I just hope we resign him this offseason.
-
It is disappointing we dropped 2 in SF but the best thing is we have 7 more games against the Cubs so it ain't over yet.
-
I was watching the game last night and woke up during the post game show and found out we came from behind and won!
-
Why sell him? I don't think you can have too many good starting pitchers.
-
This was a disappointing game but I'm not going to wring my hands too much over this loss unless we get swept here.
-
You said it!
-
And he only threw a handful of pitches.

Is BA announcing somewhere else this weekend?
-
I really didn't have a problem with Anderson until he started getting all the national gigs and was talked up as so great. I still don't see it and probably never will. As for the national guys, I hated Buck way before it was popular. I don't understand the hate for Aikmen, which is generally only from Packer fans because they feel he hates the Packers for some reason. I actually really like Collinsworth. I think he does a great job and being fun while providing interesting analysis. He sounds like a guy who's really a fan of the game and gets excited over good football. Its kinda funny - fans of other NFL teams besides the Packers have no love for Buck and Aikman. They all feel these guys hate their team and are rooting for the other team.
-
Those Pirate announcers are the worst! The Marlins had a great team when Tommy Hutton was the color guy (I like their play-by-play guy). I'll take BA over Cushon all day long and twice on Sundays.

Last night wasn't much fun but the Rockies had only won 2 games this past week and we just won 4 straight so something had to give. Perhaps Woodruff won't leave the ball over the middle of the plate for them to knock over the wall like Garza did last night. SF is having a down year so we should be able to win that series if we play like we are capable of. If we can survive this trip close to .500 we'll be okay.
-
Great way to show the Villar start was dumb I am no fan of Villar. He was good last year but no so much this.
-
I wish I could have seen this one but it is nice to win 2 in a row. Perhaps the offensive funk is over?
-
It appears Gantner is a mean drunk?
-
Arcia is PH-ing. Who is gonna come in from the bullpen?
-
Garza can drive ya crazy but he hasn't been terrible this year. nm I think it is time for CC to take him out. Anybody up in the bullpen? nm
