I freaking LOVE this team...so happy, I don't want the ride to end just yet. MCW absolutely destroyed Rose tonight, hopefully all the BKnight people were watching. Each and every game of this series we have played the Bulls better and better...2 more to go. This is awesome. Let's get that Bradley Center rocking on Thursday night and try to make some history!!!!!

Your only problem is the fact Segura is only around for 3 more years unless they can convince him to sign an extension. That or you pay him market value to keep him around. So that plan is not so simple...I 100% agree and would keep him around if he would sign a somewhat team friendly deal after a fully good year. Also Arcia will easily be Top 50 in mid summer rankings the way he has looked. Are you forgetting that Segura's natural position is 2B? Arcia AND Segura can coexist.

Looks to me like Lind needs a 8-9 year deal through his age 40 season at 15 million per year to me. Makes total sense. It's pretty remarkable where he has come from in 2 years...less than 24 months ago when we drafted him we weren't even sure if we would bring him across the pond and let him work with the team. Thank goodness we did. He absolutely has that "mojo" about him, and I think we're going to be treated to 10-15 years of a superstar.

Well, that's pretty condescending. Instead of throwing out a cheap shot, care to elaborate on why MCW is so superior? Here are the facts. MCW's playoff performance: 39% shooting 0-4 3FG 4.5 Assists (Pumped up by huge minutes in Game 3) +/- -11 But wait, look what he does on defense! Ok, let's look. Rose has dominated in this series. Is that all on MCW? Of course not, but he is the primary person guarding him. Besides all that, everyone saw him standing and dribbling time after time this playoff series, including the entire 2nd OT. With all that said, MCW may or may not be a better PG than Brandon Knight now or in the future. But there's no doubt in my mind Knight would have been a better fit in the playoffs this year for THIS team. They sorely needed someone who could get hot and knock down 2-3 threes. Brandon Knight can do that, MCW can not. Could you also post Knight's postseason stats for 2014-2015? Lol No, that's not all Knights fault, but he wasn't all that great once he left & he got injured to boot...we might not be sitting here enjoying these playoffs if we didn't make the trade. MCW's stats are also irrelevant. He's just a kid, and came from an organization that is arguably the worst run in decades & the worst team(s) in decades. You can't just flip the switch overnight...quite frankly I think he has come a long way since he was traded here already. He has a long way to go, but progress is being made and he seems like he is fully bought in & a willing learner.

If we could exit the weekend 6-13 it would be like we are 18-1, and would help erase some of the frustration we've felt the past couple weeks. Let's sweep these dirty birds and get a little optimism back in the dugout.

I think it's pretty clear cut actually. Coming from two different sources (one Milwaukee, one national), and we know Mark has a history of this with other signees too. Not sure why you are so skeptical.

I am pretty sure that MA himself is the guy that gave KRod that contract, not Melvin. It's pretty well documented that he gets in bed with Scott Boras and does deals himself of this magnitude.

I disagree with this. You have to keep someone(s) as the "face" of the franchise that common fans can identify with. Even at the cost of a few million dollars here and there or a dip in stats. The Red Sox with Ortiz and Pedroia, Yankees with Jeter, Rivera, etc, White Sox with Konerko, Seattle with Ichiro, etc. You can't just cycle every single player in and out of here when their contract is up...that is lunacy. How about for suggesting this, we trade Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, or Randall Cobb for draft picks "just because their contract is up" and we can get some young talent? Heck, lets trade off Jabari Parker and Giannis too in a few years too, we could always use another draft pick. The trick is figuring out WHICH talent is the one you have to keep. We made the right play with Ryan Braun over Prince Fielder, it just did not work out between the PEDs fiasco and nagging injuries. Life happens, just have to deal with it now. We're coming upon that time with Lucroy and Gomez...while I don't feel Gomez is a face due to injury risks, playing style, cost, etc, there are arguments for Lucroy to stick around here for years to come. The Brewers are a business just like anything else. You need flagship products in order to grow the business...you tell me how many fans are sitting in those Tampa Bay and Oakland stadiums before you tell me I am wrong. We should NOT be out there grabbing every 33 year old in sight, but we also shouldn't be cutting our homegrown talent loose either for draft picks JUST BECAUSE. Draft picks are way overrated unless you are top 10.

Was excited to watch that game after the Brewers were over/during commercials. Not so much anymore. Lot of game left to play there...we'll make it a game. Probably tie it up 3-3 and then give up a game winner.
