  1. 77. One injury away from an absolute hellscape with starters, and nothing done at all to address it.
  2. Ummm it’s a 1 year deal. He’s outta here if he plays well, and if he doesn’t play great then maybe he’s here a second. Id guess he’s gone unless he’s absolutely horrible.
  3. I’m somewhat on the trolls side. Maybe Hoskins wouldn’t come for it, but i hate the 1 year deal too. Give the guy 2 years, a little more money and then the opt out. I’ll cheer for the guy all year and am tickled we signed him, but there’s a good chance we’re going to be right back at it next winter staring at a black hole at 1B again. Sure would be nice to not look at it for a year or two and worry about another hole to fill.
  4. Sure would be better than hanging Wild card banners.
  5. And if there was a Soto, “it would cost too much.” Don’t you love the neverending wheel of excuses?
  6. The Brewers are likely going to continue being a mediocre hoisting NL Wild Card game banners for the foreseeable future without a change in strategy as well.
  7. You must really love the minnesota vikings. They aren’t going to Nashville or anywhere else if they’re hoisting a world series or NL pennant banners.
  8. As if a 37 year old Santana is the “answer” to a nearly entire lineup of sub .700 ops hitting. They better be looking for bats.
  9. What’s the rush to move him down? The plethora of annual .235 hitters we schlub out there on a daily basis?
  10. I’d just like to say thank you Bob Uecker for beginning the 53rd straight year of calling Brewers games, he’s a part of the lineup too.
  11. As a St. Thomas grad (2011) experiencing this transition (seemingly pretty well) to D1 im enjoying Rohde just where he is. 😂
  12. Nothing weird to me 🤷‍♀️. He is 39 years old, we’ve experienced a solid 15 years of winning, alot of heartbreak in the playoffs, as well as the RELAX Super Bowl. All parties know the end is coming sooner rather than later (within a couple years unless you’re Tom brady) so if we need to part ways it’s understandable.
  13. If he stays, welcome back. If he goes, oh well. I’m at the favre stage now. He’ll be in Minnesota in 2024 or 2025 too 🤡
  14. Us UW fans have been awful spoiled the past 15-20 years...I find it annoying when we have an off season and right away it’s time to fire Gard. No, we haven’t won a title, but the consistency year in and year out is a rare animal when you’re not UNC, Duke, Kansas, or Kentucky. Imagine being Indiana with all the prestige and history, and nothing but mediocrity.
  15. I will have paid AR 300 million dollars if we would have ended up in this result, and it kept that bum Russ Wilson out of here. There was a fair amount of rumors out there of a swap IIRC. Thank god it didn’t happen.
  16. Freaking annoying they put these games during the week. Every. Year. Would love to go if it was a weekend.
  17. Offense heavy for me, Priority 1 is an early receiver. Love (And Rodgers) isn’t going to succeed with what we’ve got. The more weapons the better. i also am an advocate of a QB every single year. Churn the backups and search for the next franchise guy every year, not wait until it’s time to look. The more guys the more chance to hit on one.
  18. Guess living somewhat out of the loop in MN im a bit confused by the fire MLF talk. What exactly did folks expect from an offense with 2 rookie WRs (who barely saw the field together), a very mediocre TE, and an OL that constantly was shuffling pieces around? Did you expect A.J. to catch 150 balls as if the defense didn’t know it was coming? Lazard isn’t garbage, but he ain’t a 1/2 and never was, he’s a 3, maybe a low end 2. There just wasn’t any pieces to work with outside A.J. until Watson finally got healthy and blew up. it’s the same old song and dance every offseason with the WRs...one good one (Davante, and now Watson), and a bunch of throwing crap at a wall and seeing if something will stick. Maybe Doubs matures, who knows. But there needs to be a solid 2 WR to balance things out. Then go sign Sammy Watkins and act like you really found something...guy has been done for years. If it was me I’d draft another one high this offseason and be done with this garbage every offseason. Iirc Lazard may even be a UFA. Joe Barry on the other hand.....who plays zone on 4th and 2 with your season on the line? Let alone the constant zone, but then act like your CBs are elite. USE THEM!
  19. absolutely. if he gives you trouble out the door only 720k league min lost.
  20. This isn’t directed at you, but unless it’s a specific situation such as an “out of it at the deadline” season, I’m sick and tired of hearing why the Brewers should accept the idea of taking steps back to maybe go forward later. The point of the Brewers existence is to win baseball games. We just got ahold of what I presume they feel is our starting catcher for the foreseeable future. He should be locked up IMMEDIATELY. Don’t wait around, get the ink on the paper. We didn’t do it with Adames and now the FO is sitting around going gosh gee golly the market is too high look at these deals, now I guess we pray he doesn’t break out more this season. We aren’t going to get every one resigned and some will bomb, but I think Adames was a pretty obvious one to take a shot on. Great clubhouse guy with all the tools.
  21. It’s been too quiet, even for our typical quiet standards. Something is afoot, be it a big trade or extension(s). IMO
