  1. 77. One injury away from an absolute hellscape with starters, and nothing done at all to address it.
  2. Ummm it’s a 1 year deal. He’s outta here if he plays well, and if he doesn’t play great then maybe he’s here a second. Id guess he’s gone unless he’s absolutely horrible.
  3. I’m somewhat on the trolls side. Maybe Hoskins wouldn’t come for it, but i hate the 1 year deal too. Give the guy 2 years, a little more money and then the opt out. I’ll cheer for the guy all year and am tickled we signed him, but there’s a good chance we’re going to be right back at it next winter staring at a black hole at 1B again. Sure would be nice to not look at it for a year or two and worry about another hole to fill.
  4. Sure would be better than hanging Wild card banners.
  5. And if there was a Soto, “it would cost too much.” Don’t you love the neverending wheel of excuses?
  6. The Brewers are likely going to continue being a mediocre hoisting NL Wild Card game banners for the foreseeable future without a change in strategy as well.
  7. You must really love the minnesota vikings. They aren’t going to Nashville or anywhere else if they’re hoisting a world series or NL pennant banners.
  8. As if a 37 year old Santana is the “answer” to a nearly entire lineup of sub .700 ops hitting. They better be looking for bats.
  9. What’s the rush to move him down? The plethora of annual .235 hitters we schlub out there on a daily basis?
  10. Nothing weird to me 🤷‍♀️. He is 39 years old, we’ve experienced a solid 15 years of winning, alot of heartbreak in the playoffs, as well as the RELAX Super Bowl. All parties know the end is coming sooner rather than later (within a couple years unless you’re Tom brady) so if we need to part ways it’s understandable.
  11. If he stays, welcome back. If he goes, oh well. I’m at the favre stage now. He’ll be in Minnesota in 2024 or 2025 too 🤡
  12. Offense heavy for me, Priority 1 is an early receiver. Love (And Rodgers) isn’t going to succeed with what we’ve got. The more weapons the better. i also am an advocate of a QB every single year. Churn the backups and search for the next franchise guy every year, not wait until it’s time to look. The more guys the more chance to hit on one.
  13. This isn’t directed at you, but unless it’s a specific situation such as an “out of it at the deadline” season, I’m sick and tired of hearing why the Brewers should accept the idea of taking steps back to maybe go forward later. The point of the Brewers existence is to win baseball games. We just got ahold of what I presume they feel is our starting catcher for the foreseeable future. He should be locked up IMMEDIATELY. Don’t wait around, get the ink on the paper. We didn’t do it with Adames and now the FO is sitting around going gosh gee golly the market is too high look at these deals, now I guess we pray he doesn’t break out more this season. We aren’t going to get every one resigned and some will bomb, but I think Adames was a pretty obvious one to take a shot on. Great clubhouse guy with all the tools.
  14. Spoiled? Puhlease. Bob Uecker has been calling games for 96 years and has yet to see a ship. It’s been 40 years since he called a World Series game. Apparently you must love securing fake playoff spots (wild cards) because that’s about all that happens around here, save for 1-2 years. I love my Brewers as much as any guy on the board, but I don’t consider anyone to be spoiled around here. That would be Yankees or Dodger fans.
  15. No. Just no please god. I’ve seen more than enough from that bum over here in twins land let alone his yankees days
  16. Then trade Woodruff and/or Burnes and stop pretending everything is OK the past couple years. They don’t even try to improve the hitting on the margins in season when my dog could see they needed HELP and trade away Renfroe to boot.
  17. Not all that big a mystery. The odds are status quo maintained, very little FA activity, and a bunch of trash reclamation project failures in the pen. At least that’s been the trend ?‍♂️

  19. Worst rumble I’ve ever seen. At least they tried with Melina and Molly Holly, the men’s rumble was horrible.
  20. Ehh...I’d be careful with that HELOC stuff. Not many are financially knowledgeable or disciplined enough to do that.
  21. Look at PFF (iShares Preferred Stock and Income Securities ETF). The yield is 4.68%. That one was on my list that I was considering, thanks. Often times individual preferred shares are much higher than that yield, and the only way they trade under par is if there is a crash or serious company stress. PMT/A one I have. Bought some CRF this fall, not sure whether I’ll add, would prefer them do a rights offering to add. Also watching LULU, TSLA, DIS, TGT.
