Interesting article. Also calls the Brewers an "also-ran club" while referencing a game in September 2011. Of course, the Brewers were on their way to a division title and 96 win season.
Ya. Like go to Nashville. I know that's harsh. His D is good. But he is just atrocious at the plate It's not that harsh. The Brewers sent down Hardy when he was hitting a similar average but at least with some power. And that wasn't during a pennant race. He's lucky we don't have a replacement better than Herrera.
Have no issue with the bringing the infield in already down a run, especially towards the bottom of the order. A RBI groundout is still a run scored. The 2nd inning made no sense, however.
It's been working fine for me (TW Cable, Fox Valley) Yeah I have AT&T and I think it's fixed. Thanks though. In other news.....Stanton's 2nd was an ABSOLUTE BOMB.
The first two outs on the bases were awful. I'm not ready to make that same distinction about Braun. He saw a pitch in the dirt and tried to exploit it. It took a perfect throw and tag to get him by a centimeter.
have you checked fiers' minor league stats lately? granted, he hasn't pitched deep into a game lately, but i'd hardly call his last two starts awful. In fact, 7 of his last 8 starts have been good. And the "bad" start was 5 IP and 3 ER..
I get that strategically walking Herrera is probably the right move and Peralta will probably K or GIDP....but is facing Peralta/Gomez better than facing Herrera/Peralta?
