  1. I hope we do. Start him to face one guy. If he gets on base then take him out. If he gets him out let him go until he gives up a hit. It would be funny if they moved Carpenter to the 2 or 3 hole though
  2. Depends how far you're willing to walk after parking. I've parked for free every game near 51st and Wisconsin. 20 minute walk.
  3. 4
  4. The year Braun hit the late home runs to get us in the playoffs was 2008. He won MVP in 2011.
  5. Down to 8 with Colorado's loss last night
  6. I've been to 4 Brewers/Cubs games this year and have had no issues.
  7. I understand the frustration and I was fuming last night, but it'd be nice if the remainder of the bullpen could finish this out and we get them fully rested for the Cubs series. I don't have any illusions of catching the Cubs. They are way better than us. But we need to be at full strength to win that series.
  8. He batted, so yes. He batted before the pitching change, though. I was thinking the home run and Arcia single happened so fast that there was no time to warm up. After he walked, CC could have had time to warm someone up. I'm sure you're right.
  9. With the pitching change there's some time to warm up Hader or Cedeno. Does Woodruff still go vs the top of the order? I assume yes.
  10. Gio isn't any better. He may even be worse. Probably. I’m certainly not a fan of that trade. But we should at least see what we have in him. He must have really stunk up a bullpen session for us to start Junior in a critical game. Or, you know, he started a game 4 days ago
  11. Two guys who cant hit in A ball. One in Lara who has tools but has barely hit at any level. Both are young but neither of them are likely to be great players, in my opinion.
  12. I think you were correct at the time. He was scheduled to miss us. The Nationals had an off day today and moved Strasburg/Scherzer up a day.
  13. Looks like Scherzer will pitch on normal rest Sunday so we won't miss him.
  14. Last few guys have hit him real hard. I understand it. I have no faith in Jennings though.
  15. That's why I said "almost" I think we'll get a stressful close one tonight then win comfortably tomorrow for our 3rd straight series win
  16. Say it with me. The loss column is no more important than the win column. We are ahead of the entire NL West and the Phillies. The NL West is going to beat the **** out of each other in September. IIRC, Each of the top three teams plays the other two 12+ more times. Brewers just need to get to 88 or 89 wins and that should be enough unless the Phillies get hot again.
  17. Suter is worse than anyone we have in our current rotation.
  18. True but we ending July 7-2 in our last 9 and pitching carried us so it doesn't paint a full picture. A big part of our ERA was our team defense which took a major hit with the trades. Definitely agree with that.
  19. True but we ending July 7-2 in our last 9 and pitching carried us so it doesn't paint a full picture.
  20. can turn it off early tonight, so that's nice. When we lose we really don't leave any doubt
  21. Or just pitching the Brewers out of the wild card game
  22. Phillies, Dbacks, and Rockies all lose. Rockies lost a tough one. The Brewers are now ahead of the entire NL West
