    Jack Coan got thrown back in as Notre Dames QB and put the team on his back in the final 4 minutes for the comeback win.

    Going into Atlanta I feel pretty neutral. Offense has been pretty blah, but the pitching has been great. That pitching advantage is ours pretty much the rest of the way. Braves used up their two star rotation arms. We still have Peralta/Lauer for these road games.

    It's kinda hard to wrap your head around...... It is like trying to play a board game with the guy that keeps making up rules so he always wins. Kinda like him saying we will never win the World Series BUUUUUT we could get lucky and win one though. Always a 'but' scenario so one can never look wrong.

    We did, he sucks though. This is required for any team. Even the $200mil Dodgers need this to even make the World Series.

    Kind of a who cares game. Doesn't take much to beat an incompetent offense and then run the ball every play. Mertz continues to suck and that really won't cut it against good teams and against decent teams it may not cut it. Guessing next week will be similar showing where we don't really learn much about how the more meaty part of the upcoming schedule goes.

    Two fastballs down the middle and not one in play. Even the fourth pitch was one to hit. They gave us opportunities...we just sucked today.

    Braves have scored a decent pitches from Woodruff twice this game. We have not been doing that ourselves.

    Really hasn’t felt like he has pitched that great…just nothing going right and bad swings.

    Yeah, though I just trust your others pitchers. Two outs and one guy on, maybe, but I'm full boar PHing on anything more scoring-adjacent than that. I figure any guy on second and you probably PH. With the off day tomorrow burning the pen isn’t a huge deal from a usage standpoint.
