    They very well might. Not exactly something that gets announced. Usually it gets uncovered after the fact and the contract details are just based on rumors.

    At face value there is little reason Gard shouldn’t coach the Badgers to at least a #2 seed in the tourney. Pretty good team, experienced, and a really light schedule.

    Umm....just a bad idea on many levels. Kind of a rip off of the Brewers unis and they look dumb. No part of that looks like a good idea.

    Isn't the government getting the first 100mil vaccines from both Moderna and Pfizer? If so I am sure the at risk people will be vaccinated well before pro athletes ever get a chance.

    Right ... if anything announcing it after the election removes the politics from it. As far as I can tell, Pfizer was not part of Operation Warp Speed. Depends on how you look at it. Pfizer did not take money up front for the research/development phase...however the US has committed almost $2bil for when it gets approved. However, Pfizer doesn't get the money until then and won't get it if a vaccine were to never happen from them. Many other companies have gotten money upfront and keep it regardless of the outcome.

    I don't really like the DH, but I hate the difference between the two leagues more. It is one of the dumbest things in sports that the two leagues somehow have a HUGE rule difference. How it has gone this long like that is incredibly....dumb. The DH would obviously never get removed from the AL so lets just move on already and make the DH universal. Seems obvious to figure out a way to get it in for 2021, make all parties happy, and move on.

    Based on what I've seen on the news, some of the HCWs in Wisconsin have volunteered for some of the clinical trials for the vaccines. Perhaps she's electing to participate as well? That's a valid point. The wording made it seem like it was not trial based, but that makes the most sense. And here is an article about it. It doesnt sound like a trial. https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/south-florida-hospital-covid-vaccine/2326173/ Doesn't really seem that shocking...I am guessing Pfizer would have all the dominos in place so vaccines are literally getting loaded onto trucks the second they get approval. Heck maybe it can even get shipped and be sitting at the hospitals waiting. Better wording would probably be 'plan on getting vaccinated in mid-December' because obviously they don't quite have that final authorization...though I am sure they will get it.

    You REALLY need to clean your kitchen counter. I know I'd much rather lick my counter than my toilet seat. Plus civilized people use silverware. Hey....that is what the studies say. Maybe they were testing the kitchen counter of a cat owner, then the kitchen counter is basically a toilet too.     Everyone washes their hands (well they at least they know they should) after they go to the bathroom...yet no one ever washes their hands before eating. Seems most sicknesses comes from mouth/nose and enter mouth/nose. Should I not be washing my hands prior to shoving my germ filled hands in my face? Is there a study on this? We should probably wash our hands for both...but if we were really going to only do it for one of the occasions I almost feel like it should be before eating. I always hear my toilet seat is cleaner than my kitchen counter.

    There is no reason to sugar coat it, the money isn't there and for that reason it won't happen even if he wanted to.

    I’ve kind of assumed this whole time the fact Arnold was searching for a true GM gig was the reason he wasn’t promoted right away. Would be weird to promote him and then have him leave weeks later. If his search wasn’t successful then I’d imagine it is time to give him the promotion.

    Frank Kaminsky makes a bit of sense...drafting Markus Howard or signing Sam Dekker on the other hand does not make much sense to me...other than the fact they are from Wisconsin.

    I haven't seen any negativity for a player opting out in any sport...from other players that is. I think most players will forget about last year when things start up. Not to mention what matters to most players is the $$$...sure they want to make the playoffs (more $$$), but are they really heartbroken? No, they probably happily go back to their ocean view home with their super model wives. For players to care priority #1 would have to be making the playoffs...in reality it is simply playing well enough to stay on the MLB squad and/or their personal bank account.
