  1. A lot of colleges have starbucks in them and there are people that religiously go once or even twice a day. They manage to blow through their meal plan and then have to ask their parents to put more money in their account. For some reason I doubt Sally goes home and say she needs more money cause she blew $500 on starbucks all year.
  2. I would say it definitely cost him $80mil minimum....possibly way more if he repeated 2017 twice. Sometimes life is just not fair.
  3. It would actually be cool and make some sense to do special moments for the bobbleheads. I doubt they do it...but maybe a few might be. It isn't like they haven't done countless bobbleheads of most formers players of note.
  4. All of last season the MLB.com depth charts still listed injured players on the "DL"....this is not exactly shocking.
  5. With this type of coherence, how could I not trust everything he has to say? I prefer my rumors from someone with at least a 3rd grade writing ability too. That is impressively bad and I actually am struggling to understand what exactly he is saying.
  6. Seems a bit steep to be honest, but this isn't from our beloved trade value site: https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2014/03/10/whats-the-moon-worth.aspx
  7. David Fry caught a ton last year and has exclusively played catcher in the fall league....so I don't know that he isn't a catcher anymore.
  8. MC was not the fall guy, Ted Thompson was. Afterall, MC got another years chance to prove himself with Thompson gone. If MC led an even half decent looking team they would have stuck with him. Maybe the team wasn't that good last year anyway, but reality is they looked bad last year and MC wasn't really doing much to prove he deserved to stay. I also do believe he was a bit "behind the times" and was kind of one of those coaches that seemed to move slower than the game year by year. That being said most coaches are and in the grand scheme MC was still a respectable coach over the years. Sometimes I don't think it is the coach sucks, but one must get a new look on a different team sometimes.
  9. 4th round and beyond he could be an interesting value pick. He definitely could impress in the combine and move a bit higher. A nice 40 yard time and a good vertical could do him wonders. His entire highlight real is a guy who can make plays and win jump balls. It is a real nice weapon to have on offense, especially in the redzone.
  10. Lol the joke of the PI replay lives on. They don’t replay that? That looked worthy of replay and in my opinion maybe worthy of an overturn. That is the exact situation they put it in for...big plays at the end.
  11. Why take the 10 seconds and then never use the TO? Then they get no yardage and have to take a near 50 yarder? They really butchered that.
  12. That was the most Mike McCarthy drive ever. The Siants are going to have plenty of time regardless. Why would you not try to make a drive out of it and at worst hopefully get the ball back for a response if the Saints score? Now they are at the mercy of whatever the Saints do or don’t do with little chance to respond.
  13. Funny you mention Lotza Motza. My parents had them once when the grocery store by them had them on sale. They talked them up as something legendary...so naturally I picked a few up next time I saw them as I am a pretty big pizza person. If you like a disturbing amount of thick cheese on your pizza it is definitely the pizza for you. The toppings have good flavor and they put a good amount on. I usually eat an entire pizza, that pizza I eat 5/8 pieces if I am really hungry. Seems like a classic bar frozen pizza you would get. To me there is way way too much cheese for the pizza size and crust size. Instead of raising prices it seems most companies went the route of skimping toppings/filling or making it smaller...whatever the food item may be. It is comical how small some stuff is or how much was taken out to reduce costs vs. raising prices.
  14. With all the stupid rules and confusion there has been in the NFL it is great that didn’t end up a TD for the Bills. The NFL and it’s rules is already a massive joke...awarding a TD on that? Let’s not... I vote screw up the call by not giving the Bills a TD and then clarify the rule in the offseason. One of the main problems is the refs countlessly call a kickoff dead when the player gives up on the ball without a fair catch signal. Sometimes the whistle is blown before the ball even reaches the end zone and other times will the ball bounces around in the end zone. Other times the ref is blowing the whistle after the player catches it and has yet to actually kneel down. The ref just know 8 yards deep the player isn’t taking it out. Calling that a fumble is not what the NFL needs not does anyone want that as a fan.
  15. Brady should retire...but he probably won’t. He didn’t have a great year and it’s really bad if you ignore the cupcake games. Good luck to him regardless, someone will want him if he wants to play.
  16. agreed. while we are on the subject of frozen pizzas, Jacks has really taken a tumble in quality over the past couple of years. They are getting smaller and smaller, fewer ingredients, and the amount of cheese on them now is a crime. Jacks used to be my go-to, but once my supply is gone, I'm done with them. THANK YOU!! Glad I am not the only one thinking that. I keep mentioning how they cook weird now. There is always a pool of grease now and the consistency is disturbingly bad. The pizzas can be dramatically different in taste/look each time. They used to be my preference too. Now for the price point I go with Tombstone. Bigger and better...maybe slightly more a lot of times, but worth it to me. I think it is the same company, but Jacks are just weird now. On a related note I also think Hot Pockets are garbage now too.
  17. I don’t think it would be anywhere near a gut punch, but man, really feel Titans needed a play like that to win.
  18. Well someone had to win.
  19. Man, terrible execution by both teams...so much.
  20. My word these teams...
  21. Houston, we have a problem.
  22. What an idiotic decision....and to make matters worse they get sacked so the Texans are instantly in field goal range.
  23. Good news, he probably will be exactly like Taylor and start right out of the gates.
  24. Looks like it should be around 30-35, actually. I’d put high confidence on that temp range. Not much precipitation in the forecast next weekend either...but that can be a little more fluky depending on what the different models are showing.
  25. It would depend on the language of the contract. I would expect and assume they put a clause into the contract the White Sox cannot offer him arbitration. This happens often when guys come from overseas. Good Brewers example is Aoki from recent memory...Thames may have had the same type of agreement. Would not shock me if a prospect contract has the same. While in 6 years salaries may be dramatically different, his options are $20mil. Even as a star he is hardly losing out on much money sacrificing the two years of FA.
