    That’s a lot of chances for a bloop and a blast... I will take Hader for a second inning over Pomeranz for a third or any remaining arm in the pen. Despite the homer the other day Hader hasn’t given up many homers recently.

    I can’t imagine Hader isn’t throwing 2 innings. He is our best pitcher and arguably the best reliever in baseball. Forget the other day, if we want to have success he needs to perform. Buckle in.

    To be honest all week I thought they should have gone Strasburg. It was a classic example of going with the “ace” even if he has struggled mightily for awhile now. Old school thinking in line to lose to a mightily inferior team because the coaching has been better.

    I’d guess Pom for 1-2 and Hader for 2 If Pom doesn’t have a solid first inning wouldn’t shock me if they go to someone else. With Hader, give it to him and pray.
