  1. Stand by it all you want but even with a perfect throw he should have been able to just run through home without a slide, that is 100% blame on Grandal and 0% on Sedar. He should have been safe by a mile. Then we will agree to disagree. He's too slow to risk it. Except speed had nothing to do with it.
  2. Sure didn’t look like Grandal was hustling himself, much like Blackmon. Difference is one guy plays for a 90 loss team and the other is on a team trying to win the division.
  3. I love September because I just laugh when I see an ‘other teams IGT’. It’s mostly talked about in the Brewers IGT anyway.
  4. Stopped watching that when they killed more humans than zombies. It really just got boring at that point. Then when Rick and Carl went? Yeah, felt they were integral parts of the show. I always figured I would go back and watch it on Netflix until they went.
  5. Man, UNC really blew the end of that. Went for two, failed. Perfect Onside kick, fail to get loose ball.
  6. I thought that TD was going to put them down...but they are fighting back with a absolutely amazing drive late.
  7. If only there was a huge disparity in resources to explain why a string of playoff berths is such a huge accomplishment for one and ho hum for another. Correct answer. A lack of resources is not the reason we rarely make the postseason and have historically almost never done it in consecutive seasons. It helps aide that problem, but many teams have shown to be contenders way more than us and more consistently with similar finances. The main problem has been poor management. We celebrate the consecutive postseason appearances and Stearns because no one in our history has ever proven to be competent at putting a successful roster on the field consistently. Of course...ownership may have aided that too for a while.
  8. Lol I was going to make a joke earlier about waiting for Dunn to fumble it eventually today. Too predictable.
  9. Alot of that is predictable offensive...there you go d, score yourself! Partially. I think some of it is the fact the have total confidence Coan can’t beat them. Consistently just rush 3 on anything more than a few yards.
  10. To be fair Northwestern is playing real good defense.
  11. Yah why punt from their 36 when our punter isn’t that great. Almost asking for some short punt after a touchback.
  12. I would imagine there was something too...but agreed throw it out at that point and be done. On another note I have been impressed so far with the tackling and defensive front. Really limiting yards after the hit and causing a lot of nothing burger plays. Has set the defense up nicely.
  13. Coan can’t throw it that far. If they were going to run a play what they ended up doing was not the answer. Screen pass of some sort would have been more logical and less risky. But again, just kneel. Why do the stupid Groshek run just to call a time-out? Groshek isn’t going to break for 70 yards. It is like they were content running out the clock and decided suddenly to do another play just to do another play.
  14. What were the Badgers doing? Trying to rush and get as many chances to make a mistake as possible? Just kneel the ball. I agree not trying to get cute and throw another INT trying to rush down the field...but jeez. Don’t risk fumbling etc.
  15. Hey, they threw down the field. Even made a completion on it. To the purple team.
  16. One year wonder....jeez. Meanwhile here we are celebrating the postseason two years in a row for the first time in a large percentage of fans entire lives and treat the GM like the greatest thing to ever exist.
  17. Why? We win today and tomorrow has to matter. I don’t see how the Cardinals outcome either way will sway our decision making. You pitch guys multiple innings today and they can still be available Monday (though maybe not in multi inning capacity) and would be full participants Tuesday if we don’t get to play Monday. It probably won’t really effect much tomorrow either. If those guy don’t end up in a game today they probably pitch tomorrow regardless for an inning as they haven’t played in days at that point. Doubt we have guys not pitch from Thursday until Tuesday.
  18. Barring a huge early lead I am expecting a short Gio start that then goes to the good pen arms. Might as well prime the likes of Suter/Pom/Hader for their potential multi inning work Tuesday.
