I don't agree. SS was whinging and making *** faces in the LEAST first. I strongly suspect he said something too. Sogard merely responded with what are you whinging about I agree, I didn't see that as being started by Sogard. Well before anything was said Sogard went to the left of the bag (not by much...definitely noticeable though) to break up a DP possibility. Of course the throw helped make things way worse by pulling the fielder into Sogard. Two guys not pleased with how that went. I don’t really see either player really in the wrong. Both seemed like whatever they upset the other with as a misunderstanding.

Cubs have made a major pitcher acquisition via trade and free agency. Both have left a lot to be desired results wise.

He has been better of late...but still pretty lackluster.

Incredible how much Bruce Harper is struggling. Also incredible how we almost had Mike Trout...by the completion of this season he will have pretty much sealed his HOF plaque...he is in his age 26 season. If he has a lengthy career until his late 30s he could go down as one of the greatest ever with just insane statistics.

If we fail to sign Turang and he is the only 1st rounder to not be signed that will give us pick #22 and #31 next year. Would really suck to get our other first round pick knocked back

Man. Destroying the Cardinals, big error at the start of the inning, load them up, bomb a triple to center, and then another error to keep the bleeding going. Yes...I like. Also I missed that Ozuna HR run...erm fly ball robbery attempt. Yikes...just yikes.

I’ve seen his age mentioned countless times. He is a 3 month rental. His age is almost completely meaningless.

JA Happ is good, but he isn’t a game changer. It should take a guy in the 10-15 range to headline max. A Houser or Ponce doesn’t seem crazy...though Ponce has really struggled. Not only that, but you probably only give up one other player who isn’t highly ranked. If teams start throwing out their Top 10 50 grade prospects to get Happ they are likely to be extremely dissapointed after3 months.
