  1. Yes, the yellow line has a solid amount of parking and I would assume the purple line does too. Regarding the metra I’d prefer not to do so much switching with trains and walking. I don’t mind driving the hour to get to the El system. I just want nothing to do with driving into Chicago and paying the parking.
  2. How does everyone usually take the train to Wrigley when they come from Milwaukee/Kenosha/etc.? I have taken it from Skokie (Yellow), but that is coming from the western suburbs to go. I remember it being pretty crummy traffic at rush hour around there. Do people from the north usually take it from Linden (Purple)? When I checked both are essentially the same timewise from Kenosha.
  3. People always complain about all our advertising, but at least "Edward Jones" isn't the focal point of our stadium in bright yellow. Yikes
  4. Before y’all get more mad at Drake....wow is Counsell an idiot for sending him out again. Wow
  5. You are waaaaaay to hard on him. It's like you almost don't want to believe he's a good pitcher. No, just a bit realistic compared to others. People are pleading for him to get a chance and dream he is a future ace. That despite showing little to believe he can be highly successful as a starter.
  6. Too bad. So it was a lose-lose situation for Braun? Say something, bad. Say little, bad. You know why it was like that? Cause he put himself in that situation. He cheated and lied. Couldn’t just man up. Put him in a position to lose no matter what, good. Witch hunt? Good, he was guilty. He gets everything he deserves from people that emotionally attached to him or the situation.
  7. Josh Hader should focus on efficiently getting MLB hitters out. He can’t even do that seeing them once let alone a third time. Given he typically gets the meat of an order, but even then he throw way too many pitches even when “lights out”.
  8. Nope, Broxton has a decent arm too. The CF was able to easily camp under it and get a running start towards home. You probably aren't testing any OF who gets a running start that shallow.
  9. I doubt the Brewers have any internal definition of "a #3" or "a #5" pitcher. They signed Chacin to be... Chacin. Yes, and I bet that there is some kind of expected production level, right? I am referring to that expected production level to be in line closer to what one considers a #3...not a #5. Not saying that is how the Brewers are defining him.
  10. NO!!! The focus is on 2017 numbers. Everything before that doesn't exist!!! Since his last year that mattered before 2017 was 2013, then yes you ignore them. So you are telling me Chase Anderson is Clayton Kershaw....?
  11. You are being a bit to technical with where he sets up in the rotation. They hoped he would be a #3 level starter. Whether at #3 or #4 when Nelson returns. They also said they would go into offseason planning on getting nothing from Nelson this year(probably a wise idea). They signed him while also thinking they could tweak something to make him even better. For a guy who was #3-like last year and at many times in his career I don’t find that hard to believe.
  12. Brewers didn’t sign him to be a #5. They expected him to be closer to a #3. So him being a #5 is kind of a problem.
  13. I keep seeing the Hader fan bus trying to drive itself into the rotation. Are people still forgetting he is a 2 pitch guy, velocity is down a lot, and he is currently averaging 20ish pitches to get three outs in a bullpen role almost every single time out? If I stuck those kind of titles on anyone whose name wasn’t “Josh Hader” no one would even think about them as a rotation option.
  14. I don’t and I bet there are some stats to back it up. I bet the gains don’t outweigh the horrid one pitch outs that are worse than K’s.
  15. It was on the grass wasn’t it? Didn’t look like it was trending that way. It was curving on the dirt and looked like it was going fast enough to roll foul. Hard to count on that. Hits the base and game over essentially.
  16. Wow....way to leave in your garbage pitcher. That was hard to watch.
  17. It was on the grass wasn’t it? Didn’t look like it was trending that way.
  18. Looked like he slipped or stumbled rounding the base. If he throws on the brakes, people are mad. If he goes for it and gets thrown out, people are mad at him and Sedar. Can't win I guess. Oh no. He started the year hitting over .300 and people were still actively trying to figure out how to replace him ASAP.
