  1. I thought the same, but as it turns out, it was all filmed in Canada's Quebec and Alberta provinces.
  2. We checked out Last Frontier this week (of course, we're in AK so had to check it out) and yeah so far so good. They definitely like the cliffhangers. We'll probably check out E4 right away Friday when it drops.
  3. Yup. I believe it was Wahl who slipped and that's why it got stuffed. Later when the other 4th came, I could feel it in my gut that Sherman wouldn't go for it then (he didn't) and as a result the Packers would lose. Still haunts me to this day. That loss suuuuuucked and it was stupid.
  4. I agree with you categorically on that. Especially in this case, as the coverage would presumably result in increased donations to the aid and relief causes to help the many people whose lives have been uprooted.
  5. Murph needed to get a Fathead of one of the Dodgers' SO- perhaps Mariana Vicente (Kike Hernandez) or Chelsea Freeman- in a bathing suit. Keep it in the locker room, but cover it with four pieces of cardboard, removing one piece after each Brewers win in the NLCS. But he didn't, so we lost.
  6. Yesterday I flew out to Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. The devastation was unreal. The homes that were on highest ground/pilings remained. The rest had moved and some moved far. Houses everywhere, some came to rest 10 miles or so away I’d guess. It is amazing that more lives were not lost.
  7. All the devastation to the communities in the area I live due to Typhoon Halong. I barely missed being in Kipnuk for the storm, I got out Friday afternoon. Many of the people there have lost everything. Winter will be here well before there are any solutions. It is heartbreaking.
  8. Probably if they weren’t generally so liquored, most of those cub fans would be basically tolerable. But the word “if” is doing some serious grunt work here.
  9. You get someone warm the same time as Megill, right? Right?? Ie comes and walks 2 guys gotta get someone else. Who’s ready in the first?
  10. 2 hours from game time and I’m pacing the house like an animal. I hate having a team in the playoffs. I mean don’t get me wrong, it beats the alternative. Or does it? 🤣
  11. Homer, you know how the good stand up comics have mastered timing above all else? That post was times up perfectly.
  12. That’s what I don’t get. He clearly tried to bunt and he gets a hbp ????? Ridiculous call. Glad they didn’t win off that. What a game though.
  13. I get the notion some have expressed of starting Uribe, but personally I think it's a really bad idea. 1) You want Uribe to close this down, possibly 2 innings at the end. 2) I don't trust Megill to close right now. He hasn't looked the same. The curve doesn't snap or locate and the FB isn't as fast. Maybe he improves if we advance and he has more time behind the flexor strain. 3) It shows the cubs they are in our heads about how they've been insane in the first inning this series. Gives them confidence. 4) Uribe's not used to starting, it could completely blow up in our face.
  14. At least I won't be waking up in chicago tomorrow. Or any day, for that matter. Mrs. O'Leary's cow is my personal hero.
  15. Murphy knows what he's doing, he didn't set the lineup arbitrarily. Will it work? We'll soon find out. I want this win today, bad. I want to beat them in illinois in front of their fans.
  16. I feel for folks in Central/Eastern. But selfishly, being in AK time zone I love the late start. Unlike yesterday, I'll get to watch the Brewers shut down the cubs season today. I can't wait!
  17. That's only a strike for the other guys.
  18. Durbs dang near Rickie'd his ankle on first there.
  19. That was beautiful! And glad Koenig learned his lesson once upon a time to get to the bag!
  20. I wanted to see Patrick for another.
