  1. It seems like anymore teams are more likely to pretend to fall for that than actually fall for that.
  2. Oh also, and I’ve said this before. Bu Yelich oppo=beauty. That thing carries and just keeps flying when he goes with the pitch. What a hitter.
  3. Hell yes. Dealing with some unexpected personal struggles here. This win did my heart good. Love this team. Side story time: in June I was back in Wisconsin. Took Dad to the Miz Skenes game. We talk a lot of baseball. He was eyeing how the Brewers might be able to get a WC. I told him then screw that, we’re gonna roar right past the cubs. I gotta call him tomorrow. I know he’s gotta be all in on this team by now. Take care of yourselves..
  4. For those of us who Twitter/X doesn't load for, the move is: Recalled Zastryzny, optioned McGee I figured McGee might be going back, but had no guess if it'd be Zastryzny, Yoho or even Payamps coming. I could see the merits and drawbacks of any of them.
  5. Well said, CHL. Summed up my feelings exactly. The regular season is where the bulk of the joy of baseball is. Which is why I always enjoyed following the Brewers throughout my life, even if I knew they had no shot at sniffing the postseason.
  6. McGee's not on the IL, Megill is. I'm hoping Fedde can give us 5 or even more. He's stretched out and although he hasn't been good this season, he did pitch a shutout over the nats back in May...
  7. I'm glad you all pulled it out tonight. After the 8th somebody came and needed my help getting a puppy out from under their house. It was one of those games where it felt like if I don't watch it'll probably turn out better than if I do 🤣
  8. I was thinking the same. I'd love to see it. Plus if he goes 4, could that be working towards stretching him out to swap spots with Les Mis to limit his innings....? It's going to be really interesting to see how the Brewers mgmt decides to play it over the rest of the regular season.
  9. That could be quite entertaining. Especiallly if the sound bite was the "Get up! Get up! Get outta here and..." then hit the button for "GONE!!!" or conversely, if it didn't quite get out then hit the button for Ueck's "Caught on the warning track." My, how many times I was listening on the radio and got excited only to have that sad outcome 🤣
  10. I'm working out in Goodnews Bay and this morning an old friend took me out to catch a pile of salmon. Mostly silvers (coho) and some reds (sockeye). Mission accomplished. It's going to be a year of really good eating at the Cheesehead house.
  11. Yah I wasn't sure if Bauers could score on that one when it was hit, but it was easy. Let's get more!
  12. Impressed Lee managed to hit that fair. Ugh now a risp. Rock Ridge looked not great on that play.
  13. Came to post this, definitely worth the read. Erceg was a guy I was hoping we'd hang on to a little longer. He was certainly inconsistent after moving to the mound but there were enough flashes in 22 and 23 where you knew something was there. Glad he found success, sobriety and happiness.
