Taylor didn’t make a bad try at all but I bet Cain gets that one.
  2. AKCheesehead
That sure sounded bad off the bat.

Did MLB change the way to access audio settings? Not seeing how to view with Brewers radio audio anymore.

I really like Tyrone Ta ylor as a ball player. Best hitter I don't know about but thus far in his MLB career what is not to like?

When I spotted Jonathan Davis on the roster I had to doublecheck that it wasn't former speedy farmhand Johnny Davis (Of course, he isn't. Johnny did play a bit last year in Mexico, however. And he got to play in a few MLB games in '19 so he'll always have that.)

My goodness what a nauseatingly depressing picture.

I admit I haven't read on this subject besides what has been stated in this thread but I don't like this. It technologically removes some of the nuance of baseball. Makes obscolete the need for signs and various systems of signing, removes a bunch of the mental prep and cohesiveness needed for an effective MLB battery. I absolutely get why pitchers and catchers would love this, as well as fans who want the game to end as fast as they can get it over with. But I don't fit into either category and thus I'm not in favor.

The Gallardo double was followed by one of the more epic of post game interview teammate abuses I can recall. He’d certainly earned some paybacks. Remember soaking wet high fives in the tunnel. As a fan I just love stuff like that.

Not necessarily new, but the first time I watched it, Here's a link to a pretty much perfectly done Isbell & 400 concert.

We're all dying. It's all going to be over soon so enjoy it now the best that you can, and don't wait to make the peace you need to make. There's no time like the present.

One issue I've encountered is if I post in a page of a thread I have already posted in, it automatically puts my previous post in, as though I'm quoting myself (which I am not.) So then I have to delete that before beginning my post. Once the thread is on to the next page this doesn't seem to happen. Anybody else have that issue, and/or am I doing something wrong? Other than that minor thing, I like it so far.

Looked to me like severe ankle sprain, from the one look I got at it. Not good in any case. Kind of like last game, screw up right before half to cost them the lead at halftime.

This is not quite irksome enough to put in the What's Bugging You sub forum. But it does kind of bug me when people constantly post pictures of their babies and toddlers on social media with half their food stuck to their face. By all means share bright fun pictures of your children, it's good to see. But good grief, why always with rice, pudding, or some orange crap smeared all over them? Enough is enough.

    You were saying...

Keep the defensive intensity up and keep playing Wisconsin offense. Hopefully Colgate quits making everything.
  16. AKCheesehead
Just could feel that Hepburn kick was going to cost them the halftime lead.

Heck yeah and despite a 1-2 record, Hydra is in the round of 32 (well, play-in match) we usually watch the show live on Thursdays. I make dinner during the rerun and then we eat and watch the current episode. Maybe I’m just a nerd but I enjoy it.

I have a beef with regards to price gouging. I’m out in bethel, ak and our fuel is barged up the Kuskokwim River. Price stays fixed from whatever it was for the company as of last barge of the season (September) until first fuel barge arrives and in spring. Always has, up until now, that is. Our prices went up last week on fuels despite the fact that the companies cost of what they are currently selling was from September 21 and there’s no knowing what their costs will be in June when the next fuel barges arrive.

Glad I was working so didn’t see it. That said, I am always kind of meh on the B10 tourney. Cool if they win but nothing disappoints me. I love exceeding expectations in the dance and deep runs. Conference championship is a big deal for me too.

UGA has dismissed Crean. I'll be shedding no tears on his behalf.

It's robot fightin' time!!! Are there any other bf.netters that are into battlebots? It's been a regular Thursday night thing at our place. Easy fun entertainment and just the right catharsis to push through the end of the week for me. Last night they announced the 32 bot bracket. https://battlebots.com/bracket/ Starting a thread in case there are other fans here who might want to fill out a bracket and discuss. This somewhat straddles the fence between the Off Topic and the Other (mostly Wisconsin) Sports sub-forum I realize.

They responded great after the Davis play. Methodical good offense and tough D. Made their free throws.

My main fear is if the ads come with pop up videos that auto play. If you look at your data usage in real time, you pretty much take the hit instantly even if you close the video. Up here, data is at a premium (I get 4 gb/month and it gets throttled severely after hitting 3.5 gb) so my participation from home will likely plummet, unfortunately.

I feel a little bad for Dad. He has season tickets but gave away last night's so he could go watch my nephew play his final high school game. Obviously the correct decision, though obviously a sucky decision to have to make.

And even from up here on the tundra! I hope Bob had a great day!
