  1. How sad is it that Bevell is considered a Badger great? At least as quarterbacks go. Besides what others said…brought them the Rose Bowl victory. That TD rush against UCLA remains my favorite, most iconic play in my lifetime of watching Badger Football.
  2. And the trophy definitely will be less glamorous. My how my dreams were dashed on the day Peavy informed us that the mayonnaise bowl is not a Big Ten game this year.
  3. I'm just curious, what would be the upside in just keeping him? I suppose he’s talking about JBJ’s upside, shown as recently as 2020, and his elite defense. Make no mistake, I’m not bashing the trade nor am I predicting JBJ will be as good as or better than Renfroe in 2022. But of course it’s not entirely beyond the realm of possibility that JBJ rebounds. I would expect him to be better than he was in 2021 anyways, it would be tough not to.
  4. My goodness. This Johnny Davis show is something else.
  5. It’s been impressive watching Utah dismantle the Ducks. I hope they do the same thing to the wolverines if they play them.
  6. Yes that is what I was referring to. Impossible to quantify but clearly it didn't do anyone any favors, and I thought last year's team had the ability to be better.
  7. Well that certainly was a momentary head-scratcher before clicking the link.
  8. I can’t help but to wonder how much difference it’s making this season to not have the internally created locker room turmoil/borderline mutiny, also.
  9. I completely agree with this. If the purse strings don’t get loosened during this window to acquire some more consistent offense while we have this pitching, then it never will. Unfortunately we will have to trade some of this pitching to acquire some offense and then we won’t have the dominant pitching. Not an easy task for Brewers management to figure out. All I know is going into 2022 without any significant offensive improvements is not a viable option. I don't know about that. They didn't go to the World Series this year, but they were absolutely a World Series caliber team. Just because it didn't lead to the ultimate goal in 2021 doesn't mean the approach wasn't valid. I'm all in favor of upgrading the offense, but absolutely not if it comes at the expense of the pitching.
  10. Yes that drive was large, quite large.
  11. Not popular but I would kick
  12. Really good job in coverage?? Got lucky is all.
  13. Too bad he couldn’t tackle him going down. Get the PI but keep the shutout alive.
  14. Yup that was entertaining. I thought they should’ve gotten a PI near the end which may or may not have changed the outcome.
  15. Well this game sucked. I hope Bucky stomps the crap out of them next year.
  16. Hey let’s punt
  17. Yeah you can’t be punting. Even after the penalty.
  18. Should have been offensive PI.
  19. Mn kind of deserved a personal foul for shoving Allen down way after all the whistles.
  20. I thought that defender drove Allen back. He got his legs while he was standing straight up.
  21. Hopefully we can at least keep the defense off the field a while here and give them a long field to defend.
  22. Yeah this brutal how long do we have to watch this? It’s awful. Conversely, I could watch deflated Michigan fans pout and mope out of the big house for hours.
