  1. I wondered if Oxy's boring chant was going to be the last post of the thread in a game with that much time left when he posted it, because that would have been kind of hilarious.
  2. Wouldn’t have even had a chance to try making a move Mertz threw hi such a bad pass.
  3. Those were pretty ridiculous. I rated Rutgers’ a little worse.
  4. Can we at least agree Rodgers had an awesome t shirt for the interview?
  5. I don't know if that's the generally accepted term, but anyone who was a Packer fan at the time it happened certainly will know exactly what "The TJ Rubley Incident" refers to. Or as a verb, to Rubley the game away. Or simply "pulling a Rubley" works too.
  6. I had Majik and then was thinking Dilweg but that was two years prior. I won't spoil the other 2 names after I had to look it up. I think one is arguably and sadly the most successful QB to come out of Ohio State at least since 1980. I believe the other had multiple stints as the Packers’ No. 3 QB. He didn't start, but thanks to your trivia question I ended up thinking about the TJ Rubley incident for the first time in a long time.
  7. True. Case in point, people who discuss it usually need to add the disclaimer that they themself are vaccinated, lest they be vilified for suspicion being non vaccinated. You did so, OSS did so in the post right after the one that I quoted. I mean, I get it, nobody wants to be labeled. But to me it's just absolutely insane how people are so at one another's throats over it.
  8. Manfred couldn’t get off that stage fast enough.
  9. I bought the car new and they came installed. I may try to make some adjustments. Yup I realize they come factory installed now I just don’t understand how it is allowed. They create a true hazard. When those lights are oncoming when I go to work in the morning I’m always so afraid a pedestrian will walk in front of me while I’m being blinded.
  10. They're just as bright as high beams. If people are flashing theirs at you, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out your headlights are too bright. Those things should be illegal.
  11. Ah sneak again. Don’t overthink this.
  12. I couldn’t see what happened to him. At first I thought he’d gotten gouged in the eye but obviously that wasn’t it.
  13. Never a doubt. Lol. What a ridiculous end.
  14. That was pretty incredible and it didn’t even appear to be difficult for davante.
  15. Sure didn’t look like a td to me.
  16. For a second there I was afraid they were going to claim he didn’t signal fair catch.
  17. Flambeau HS in Ladysmith????
  18. Yeah what’s with the game show suspense pause?
  19. Is he working on his sprints? I assume they're not going to try to have him throw that far, so he would have to run every ball back in. This is from McCalvy's writeup: “I think there's a skill set that can play out there,” Stearns said. “I think he can catch fly balls. So, that's not something we've dug deep into, but as we look towards potential multi-positional players, that's probably something that we'll talk about as we go forward.”
  20. That was a good game tonight. Bad call on the check swing strike 3 to end it though.
  21. A good friend of mine is a Cardinals fan (I DO hold that against him, but we're still friends) and he was calling for a change of manager. He cited issues with giving too many opportunities to Carpenter, Reyes, Dejong and Martinez to underperform, poor pre-game and in-game planning. I guess I just hope whoever they hire next is even worse.
  22. Our offense was not nearly good enough. Take a look at every other postseason teams lineup and you will see that the Brewers easily had the worst of them all. I don't disagree with either of you on these points, but I'll just add: Atlanta obviously deserves credit too. They pitched really well for the whole series. Their defense made some terrific plays to rob the Brewers of some hits, a number of which were with RISP. There's no telling how much better one of the other teams would have done against Atlanta in that particular series the way they pitched and played the field.
  23. Well I just finished watching it on dvr after work. When we were down to the last out and Yelich up, I honestly thought about just hitting stop and delete recording. There wasn’t any doubt in my mind he would strike out to end it. And so ends my 2021 dream.
  24. After the Brewers win today on the strength of Lauer's pitching and Urias's hitting, I'd like to make a motion that the IGT heading be titled Grisham Trade Redemption Game.
