  1. Yeah that was pretty much the moment I thought Hader needed to be traded (Or more specifically, after 2020 when we saw him being used this way that season). They almost waited too long but luckily they still got good value for him.
  2. In 2002 I went to seven games. The Brewers lead for half an inning total (and not the bottom of the 9th). Things were so exciting! In fact things were so exciting that about 9000 people would show up to games to watch the Brewers probably lose.
  3. Well as a Brewer lifer I can tell you this team is way more fun than any of the late 90's/early to mid 00's teams. You see this team wins more than those teams did and what you're actually experiencing is just nostalgia for the past.
  4. Well they probably weren't going to win out. Lets get a win tomorrow.
  5. Yeah a manager makes several decisions in a game and fills out a lineup card. In comparison, a football coach is generally calling plays offensively or defensively along with making all game management decisions. And that's just the gameday impact.
  6. Is this a qualifier for the whoa solvvd forum? Haven't had one in a while.
  7. Credit to the front office to be able to get anything for him.
  8. That miserable offense sure looks alright today.
  9. See the thing people need to realize is we have a miserable offense against LHP's. That is not the case against RHP's.
  10. Ok and the two games before that the pitching gave up 12 runs and 10 runs.
  11. A lot of people had the foresight to see that this was pretty dumb as well.
  12. Another imaginary pitch count limit or maybe Counsell read some more body language. Figures
  13. Oh. I think they'll probably either take a hometown discount if they really want to stay here or more likely sign with the team that gives them the most money.
  14. What does the lineup have to do with how much Woodruff and Burnes will cost in free agency?
  15. Calm down dude. It was over 4 heading into the game. That was my arbitrary cutoff point. I don't care about track record for the purposes of explaining why the Brewers rank poorly in run prevention. The guys I listed were the starters who gave up runs at the highest rates.
  16. Before Peralta's good start yesterday, his ERA was right with the others.
  17. Inb4 thread lock.
  18. It's a manufactured race, not a real postseason race. If they let 24 teams in and the Brewers sit 15 games below .500 but only one game out, is that a good race? During the best system they would be 6 games back of the division and postseason in a bad division right now. You would not be particularly happy with that. Comparing it to the Herb Kohl Bucks is pretty accurate as the NBA system is awful and nobody cares about making the last couple playoff spots.
  19. They should put a camera in the bullpen so Counsell can read bullpen pitcher body language before letting them blow games.
  20. They're only two games out because of the ridiculous new system where mediocre or bad teams will get in the WC.
  21. Don't worry they'll all be laughing tomorrow when they put a position player on the mound again so they can make sure save their 9 relievers for their once a week appearance.
