  1. My money is on one of Taveras, Jurado, Matuella, or Payano. I was first expecting a throw in/lottery ticket, but the Rosenthal report and some other information makes me think it's a legit prospect. I would be ecstatic with any of the names above, but I would tread lightly with Matuella. If it's Mendez I'll go even more nuts!
  2. It was completely unsurprising that a post like this was the 2nd one in this thread. Carlos puts butts in seats, doesn't hurt the rebuild in the long run, and would provide far more potential value than Kirk and Flores no?
  3. Boy I bet those sons of guns in Nashville wish they hadn't kicked Milwaukee to the curb. After our contract with CS is over we'll have our pick of the litter.
  4. Besides Dillard first submariner since Shouse?
  5. Stance really isn't his hindrance. IMO his approach to the ball needs to be refined. He reaches a lot with is hands which I believe causes most of his ground balls. I'm no professional scout, but his loading phase and transfer of energy is phenomenal (one of the best in recent memory) I might be biased though because I love that high leg kick. I think he'll put it together though. He's too talented and confident not too.
  6. Some of y'all are too hung up on Brinson's numbers this year. It's about projection and the mouth watering tools he has.
  7. You're right. My brain is mush. I'm done. Is it possible none of us fully grasp the TT rule? I mean, Rosiak on twitter was saying it's a good bet that it's a player from this draft. I don't think that's possible from my understanding.
  8. This is not a dig at anyone on here (mostly baseball subreddit), but I have a feeling the people hating this deal will be looking pretty stupid in a couple years.
  9. Totally disagree with this. The deal is definitely not without risk, but man oh man 30-30 potential with plus defense...
  10. Guys, guys, guys... Brinson is a possible 5 tool CF who some scouts argue has more potential than Mazara. Ortiz has a chance to be a TORP. Stearns knocked it out of the friggin park.
  11. Alright I apologize. I thought you were attacking me. It's sounds weird, but it's been a roller coaster of emotions today.
  12. Stop it now. The poster was correct. If stars hurt feelings or are offensive ban me now then. I go on here to talk baseball and listen to other Brewers fan's opinions not for someone or myself to police mine or someone else's language especially when it isn't even seen. I'm fired up about a Lucroy deal sorry for being too excited.
  13. ******* puke The stars are there because swearing is frowned upon. You've had a lot of those I've read recently. Maybe tone em down. Piss off
  14. I like Mejia but him as a headliner ehhh
  15. As others have stated, I think it's going to be the Red Sox. They have the ammunition, the GM and the resources to extend. They make more sense than Cleveland to me and always have. I don't love the top of their system other than the obvious guys that I don't think they'll give up, but I think a deal headlined by Devers would be pretty great. Finally have a 3B for the future.
  16. TDA is in the Mets lineup. Thank the lord baby Jesus!
  17. The more I think about it the more I think this is a dummy offer. This is not Stearns blueprint whatsoever.
  18. http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Jack-Donaghy-Pouring-Alcohol-Loop-30-Rock.gif
  19. My thoughts are is if that's the best offer there is no reason we can't hang onto him until the Winter. Take your chances with the market expanding.
  20. If TDA isn't healthy enough to make a difference with us, which I assume he won't be based on his history. Nimmo profiles as a fourth outfielder. Give me the comp. In a deal with any other team I take the package EASY.
