  1. Dodgers have .100 lower OPS against lefties. I start Suter and hope he makes it 4-5 innings. I then bring in Peralta, who had success against the Dodgers in the 2018 NLDS. If we have a lead at that point, I go with Williams/Hader to finish. Hader will be on 3 days rest by Wednesday, I am hoping he will be available for all three games if need be.
  2. I would think Suter starts game 1 and hopefully can give us 3-4 innings. My guess is Peralta follows, and then go from there.
  3. Any reason Vogelbach was left off this list? I would think he would factor into the team's plans based on his performance this year.
  4. I wouldn’t leave Yardley in there very long. This could get away from us quickly.
  5. It is hard to watch this team try and score runs.
  6. It is hard to fathom how we score three more runs to win this game.
  7. I agree 100%. Tomorrow's game becomes the season with a loss tonight. You have to handle these games one at a time, and figure out tomorrow's game when it happens. Bauer is also throwing on three days' rest tomorrow.
  8. Another 3 Ks for Hiura last night. I know he occasionally runs into one, and it typically goes a long way, but for the most part, his at-bats have been disgusting this season. It's gotten to the point where I get up and leave the room during his at-bats, because it's so disappointing watching a player who has so much skill and talent, but evidently has no clue how to use it. I believe that Hiura has tremendous upside, but he's gotta get on top of his swing-and-miss tendencies, or I fear he's not going to have a long career. Thankfully he is very young, and there's still a lot of time for him to figure it out. For all of the "contact hitters" Stearns brought in this year, here we are tied for 3rd most strikeouts in the league again this year.
  9. Brewers offense needs to show up this week. Way too many strikeouts again last night, and unproductive outs with men on base. The pitching will be there, consistent offensive production has been a question pretty much all year.
  10. The Brewers quest to get above .500 for the first time this year is foiled yet again.
  11. My gosh have we had some bad at bats tonight.
  12. How do we not score there? Just brutal.
  13. I lobbied hard for the Brewers to claim Domingo Santana off waivers when he was available and get rid of Peterson. I just don't understand why we didn't do this, especially given the success Santana has had here in the past. It has been a really, really bad year for David Stearns in my humble opinion.
