  1. If Mitchell is deemed healthy and looks good on his rehab assignment, he'll be on the playoff roster. Even if he doesn't start, he'd be a huge pinch hitter, defensive replacement, or pinch runner. His speed alone would make it nearly impossible to keep him off the playoff roster.
  2. Do they really need to have a big press conference to announce a uniform patch?
  3. Wiemer has turned into an automatic strikeout.
  4. Our outfield of the future should be Chourio, Mitchell, and Frelick. Wiemer shouldn't be considered an everyday starter without a major swing overhaul. I think he could still make a solid 4th/5th outfielder with speed and as an elite defender.
  5. I have to say, it is even more exciting to watch the games with a legit home run threat like Donaldson added to the lineup. Go Brewers!
  6. Will this be Josh Donaldson's debut? Sure feels that way.
  7. The Brewers need to find a way to win this one.
  8. Coming off of a 4 HR week, is today the day he gets the call? I could see it, or I could see it on September 1. I would be shocked if we don't see him up at some point in the next 10 days.
  9. This is shaping up to be Orlando Arcia 2.0. Brewers give up on a highly regarded prospect prematurely, and he becomes an all-star on another team. The writing seems very much on the wall to me.
  10. I am 100% in favor of this. Start him in a few low leverage situations and see how he does. He has a chance to be a massive game changer out of the pen if his control improves. The stuff is definitely there.
  11. I think it’s going to take outside the box thinking to take us to another level. I don’t think they are ready to do it yet either but they should at least be discussing it.
  12. DFA Chafin and call up Misiorowski to take his place.
  13. Okay the. Chafin experiment needs to promptly end.
  14. Willy just flat out needs to be benched, he is absolutely useless.
  15. Maybe this series will force an offensive shakeup, who knows.
  16. This game literally sets up perfectly with the bullpen rested and it won’t matter.
  17. I just can’t watch Willy hit anymore.
  18. Those two games off last week really helped Willy.
  19. Hiura with another HR tonight. That’s 20 in 73 games for those who are counting.
  20. I should have clarified, I meant winning a World Series. That should be the goal given Burnes is as good as gone after the season. Hiura had a .765 OPS last year, which would rank him 3rd on this year's club. He should be given another chance for that reason, and the fact he has changed his batting stance and might actually be better than last year.
  21. Total crap move for the Dodgers to schedule this as a night game. We should schedule next year's getaway day at Am Fam as a night game if we remain at home following the series.
  22. The Brewers aren't winning anything with the present lineup construction. It's going to take a couple of call ups that change the complexion of the lineup to contend for a World Series. Hiura should be on the short list of call ups to potentially catch lightning in a bottle. If Brewers brass maintains the status quo, then they are just dumb.
  23. I can’t wait to get out of LA, this is not at all enjoyable.
  24. Tyrone Taylor, hitting a paltry .178, should not be playing over Weimer.
  25. The Dodgers and Braves are in a class unto themselves in the NL.
