    It’s also on you that your reading comprehension is limited enough that you seem to think I ever said Williams shouldn’t have been put in. And it started just because I included Murphy in the list of failures AFTER Williams and 1/2 of the lineup. But you don’t seem to think Williams needed to be settled down and he wasn’t missing by that much so I guess there’s nothing a manager could do. And the only reason anybody me could disagree with you is emotions, or something

    He clearly was out of control out there and should’ve had a visit and pulled him probably before the Winker at bat and visited before the Alonzo at bat. I never said Williams should’ve have been in. But Williams and the 1/2 the lineup that disappeared are obviously what killed the team

    What is the deal with Hoskins playing 1B and Bauers DH? Bauers being able to play a decent 1B is the only benefit he provides to the team

    Seriously, why not use the times when Sanchez starts at a chance to get Contreras some rest by simply DHing Contreras and catching Sanchez ?

    I didn’t say he had been awful so far, did I? But like you said, he won’t keep that up. He’s a journeyman reserve catcher. And like I said, they didn’t replace their best hitter, they also didn’t upgrade from Monastario, and they could’ve used a bat before Yeli’s injury

    You think there’s no substantiating that today’s lineup is a bad one and it must just be “emotional IGT stuff”? The way Sanchez 3rd and Haase DHing is totally not awful, especially for a 1st place team 🙄. Not to mention completely not replacing Yeli

    Look at their lineup without Yelich. They definitely didn’t do enough since they didn’t get a bat. And now their 4 best hitters are all RHB

    Maybe they shouldn’t play every single day. Look how awful Ortiz and turang have been. It sure would be nice to have a decent player to give them a rest on occasion. And at least a guy who can hit lefties instead of Turang

    So the brewers, with like 3 SP and a floundering lineup now missing its best hitter, decided to make their top deadline move be giving up a pitcher for a worse pitcher? And throwing in a prospect to make that happen? Woof

    Luis Rengifo would be a good 2B option (especially vs LHP) while also being able to spell Ortiz and rest/DH Adames a couple times. I’ve wondered why Frelick hasn’t been used more at 3B to rest the infielders while simultaneously alleviating the bit of an OF logjam there was before the Yelich injury

    Based on what it took to get Isaac Paredes, the brewers should’ve been all over that. they really need to get one of: Brandon Lowe, Lamont Wade, Vladdy jr (reverse platoon splits), Brent Rooker (even splits), Nate Lowe, or Yaz

    Mountcastle can play OF and the rangers don’t have DH blocked so they can make both work. But I don’t understand why TX would be buyers so maybe Lowe could be had regardless, since they should be selling

    In what world would Varsho be a DH? Take a look at his defense before saying such things. Also, I’d consider adding Lamont Wade to this list. The top of it actually.

    Most in baseball. Maybe automatically going to home anytime anyone puts the ball in play is dumb?
