  1. Cain CF Yelich LF Thames RF Aguilar 1B Moustakas 3B Schoop SS Shaw 2B Pina C Guerra P
  2. Cain CF Yelich RF Braun LF Aguilar 1B Moustakas 3B Perez 2B Pina C Arcia SS Chacin P
  3. Does anyone else think Arcia's demotion and limited play might relate to some coachability and arrogance issues? He was hitting terribly and I question how much redirection he accepts. Only if the Brewers could get .250 out of him!
  4. Cain CF Yelich LF Aguilar 1B Shaw 2B Moustakas 3B Thames RF Pina C Arcia SS Guerra P
  5. Cain CF Yelich RF Braun LF Shaw 2B Aguilar 1B Moustakas 3B Schoop SS Pina C Anderson P
  6. So stick with Petalta's short starts, Barnes getting big innings and Kratz and Pina's anemic offense? With the looming 2019 40 man roster crunch, prospects beyond the top five should all be sweeteners in deals.
  7. Tyson Ross, AJ Ellis and Kirby Yates to Milwaukee Luis Ortiz, Jacob Nottingham, Domingo Santana and Kodi Mederios to San Diego The Padres get younger, save money and get a ton of value. The Brewers strengthen three of their weaknesses. Yates, Jeffress, Knebel, Jennings, Hader. That has the makings for a nasty bullpen! Santana and Nottingham would each make the Padres 25 man immediately.
  8. Freddy to the pen and Burnes to the rotation after the All Star break. Piggy back them in September to keep innings low.
  9. This could be ridiculous! Cain CF Yeich RF Machado SS Aguilar 1B Shaw 2B Thames/Braun LF Pina/Nottingham C Pitcher Villar/Miller 2B
  10. The fact that he is a rentals makes it appealing. He won't cost Huira, Burnes or Peralta. Generally, pitchers in the last year of their contract have effective second halves because they want another contract.
  11. Woodruff, Ortiz, Houser, Santana, Ray for Britton and Machado Woodruff, Houser and Santana would enter the rotation, pen and line up immediately in Baltimore. Cain CF Yelich RF/LF Machado SS Aguilar/Thames 1B Shaw 3B Braun/Thames LF/RF Pina/Kratz C Villar/Perez/Saladino 2B Pitcher
  12. My guess: Yelich CF Braun LF Thames RF Aguilar 1B Miller SS Perez 3B Villar 2B Pina C Anderson Shaw needs a few days off.
  13. Try this? Villar 2B Braun RF Yelich CF Aguilar 1B Thames LF Perez 3B Miller SS Pina C Guerra
  14. Good player, not a fit in Milwaukee.
  15. Happ pencils in as #1 in the rotation. Santana has no future in Milwaukee with Cain, Yelich, Braun, Thames (but hopefully, not too often in the outfield) and a host of up and coming outfielders. Peralta and Burnes should be off the table unless multiple years of control for a pitcher are offered. Cody Ponce for JA Happ? The Blue Jays would hang up immediately. Happ will draw a MLB ready pitcher plus, easily.
  16. How about Woodruff and Santana for Happ? Both teams pick up the other teams salary.
  17. Miller has played poor at short at Colorado Springs. Saladino is no where near ready and will need time in the minors. How about Jed Lowrie for Bubba Derby or Jordy Mercer for Adrian Houser and Trent Grisham?
  18. Peralta, Woodruff and Santana for Machado? Cain CF Yelich LF/RF Machado SS Shaw 3B Braun LF/1B Aguilar/Thames 1B Perez/Villar 2B Pina/Kratz C Pitcher That is a pretty sweet batting order!
  19. Who could be had and how much? Huira and Burnes are untouchable. Jed Lowrie- 2B/SS (Erceg) Tim Anderson- Unsure of cost (Santana and Nottingham) Marcus Siemien- Would cost a lot (Santana, Nottingham and Peralta) Asdrubal Cabrera- Would cost. Can he play SS full time? (Peralta and Ray) Freddy Galvis- Could be cheap (Erceg) Manny Machado- #3 Hitter, rental ( Santana, Ray and Peralta)
  20. The Brewers can get a mid rotation arm like Ross or Straily without giving up Burnes or Huira. If Nelson comes back he will be on limited innings. One more piece can solidify the rotation minus Nelson. A rotation of two and three pitchers, with a dominant bullpen, can be enough to make the playoffs if the offense keeps producing. Anderson,- Not a one but he's our one. Trade Option Chacin- I'll take him as a #3 any day Guerra- Can be very good. Nelson/Suter/Woodruff/Burnes/Peralta/Davies- Great depth
  21. Dan Straily and Derek Dietrich for Domingo Santana, Adrian Houser or Jacob Barnes, and a choice of Freddy Peralta, Brett Suter or Brandon Woodruff. Straily pencils in to the rotation, Dietrich plays OF when Braun can't (can also play 2B), Santana starts everyday in Miami and Peralta, Suter or Woodruff go into the Marlin rotation. Houser or Barnes is an add in for the Marlins bull pen.
  22. Aguilar for Kuechel? Thames/Braun platoon Knebel for Kuechel? Jeffress becomes the closer
  23. The kids going to LSU. The Brewers simply save the cash for a better 2nd thru 6th round pick to over pay on.
