  1. I don't blame the Bucks for taking him either. He's pretty dumb if he is actually willing to sit out for a year without a guarantee of being able to re-enter the draft. I also think he'd get plenty of playing time, which is something they seem to be concerned about.
  2. It was mentioned in the JS that the Brewers are no longer interested in Lofton since Hall isn't out long. That makes sense.
  3. This is pretty cool. Also good to hear they retain the rights to Ersan.
  4. Bedard's good, but he's not Braun/Yo good. I don't really see a match. I'd probably give up Villy/Inman/Gwynn for Bedard, but I don't see why Baltimore would feel the need to move him.
  5. I think I'd rather have Parra or Villanueva make the next two-three starts for Sheets so they can keep Yo in the pen until August.
  6. Not totally sure how this works, but I'd like to give it a shot.
  7. I don't really see a need for Lofton either. Otsuka, on the other hand would be a nice pickup. He hasn't pitched in a couple weeks, but he's due back any day. They'd have to wait and see if he's healthy.
  8. I saw that right away and was complaining about it, but I figured it wasn't a huge deal.
  9. Judging from this story in the JS, I'm guessing Villanueva will fill in if Sheets can't make his next start. If they DL Sheets it will be Villy to the rotation and Balfour to the pen. Ned says he wants to keep Yo in the pen until August.
  10. The blog looks good Jay! I have to say I enjoy when people link to their blogs or sites. I like checking them out. As far as shameless plugs go, nikegolf6 (Dan) is writing at my blog as well. I think we have some decent content.
  11. I know. I said supposedly because a lot of his backers claim he doesn't strike out a lot. I knew there was a good chance of that groundout though. In other news, please let the injury to Sheets be as minimal as possible.
  12. So Gwynn supposedly doesn't strike out. Let's see some contact here Tony!
  13. Ok... Let's do something here. Let's go Jee-Off.
  14. This is brutal. The Rockies have their mashers up now.
  15. They have to win it here... Don't they?
  16. Weeks should have been dead. Not smart running.
  17. Apparently my DVR can only rewind an hour back. I couldn't look at the bunt. I agree it looked like the damage came on that pitch though.
  18. Hurricane, I'll rewind to the bunt at commercial.
  19. Yeah... It certainly didn't look like a blister. They were poking and prodding and he was wincing in pain.
  20. If it's a blister I will be overjoyed.
  21. I was sure that ball was caught. And wow, sounds like the out-of-Milwaukee audience is getting screwed. FSN is a circus.
  22. So even though the game is no longer my main concern, I thought I'd add that Rodrigo Lopez is currently no-hitting the Brewers.
  23. All I'm doing right now is trying to come up with some injury that won't have Sheets out for more than a start. I'm not coming up with anything... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
