  1. Wise pitched yesterday, so I guess you're right. It's just frustrating that it had to kill a potential rally.
  2. But how much could Helling have left anyhow? He hasn't been sharp as it is. I just don't think passing that chance up is worth having Helling pitch one more inning.
  3. How can Helling be hitting here? Pinch hit!
  4. How can you possibly know (or even guess) that he is babying injuries? You don't know the severity. If he did what you wanted, he'd probably be seriously hurt. When he tore his lat, he felt tightness but decided to try to pitch through it. Would you rather have him do that again?
  5. Ok. Sheets looked a lot thinner to me actually. And do you have any inside info on his training regimen? That's the only way I can imagine you questioning his heart with any credibility.
  6. Could it just be from the heat? I don't know. For anyone watching, is he still in the dugout? Does he look like he's in pain? Anything you can give me?
  7. I'd rather he take caution if a tight pec is really what the problem is. He felt tightness right before his torn lat but decided to push through it.
  8. Could have been a lot worse. Benny historically has trouble with the first inning. Hopefully he settles in.
  9. How about a road series win, huh? Sheets' first road start since his return. I like our chances.
  10. Well, that lineup looks a little better. Mench at cleanup is still pathetic.
  11. So is there any way the Brewers can compete with these other teams to sign either of those players? That would be pretty cool.
  12. I hate this offense. It has two threats out of nine hitters.
  13. Three runs at Coors Field in 22 innings. Astonishing.
  14. Why does it seem like the guys who kept this team afloat in the first half are kind of falling apart now? See Capuano, Bush.
  15. What a boring game. Quick and painless, I guess...
  16. I thought Jones' contract was up after next season. If so, we shouldn't have to give up as much.
  17. Doug Davis. He's a gritty battler.
  18. Here here! I just hope he's not hurt badly.
  19. How quickly will the "Cappy is our ace over Sheets" crowd backpedal? God...
