Kottaras? I'm as big of a Kottaras supporter that you'll find, but you can't use him there. It's looking like this game could go into extra innings. They might need him to catch. If it was a chance with runners on or something, sure, but not to lead off an inning.

Definitely laughed at that too. That scout thing is a decent concept, but I haven't been very impressed with it. It makes conclusions based on this season, which is a crazy small sample size.

Stupid Roenicke and his stupid bunting. Plus, Ishikawa is a first baseman. He isn't someone to bunt with anyway. Stupid.

Not to be a pessimist, but I would have rather heard "bruised" knee rather than twisted. Twisted implied he did it before hitting the wall, as we feared, and probably increases the chance it's a longer term injury.

God! Now he is out of the game. Showed him limping in the dugout.

Foul pop up. Gamel running back for it, tried to stop and couldn't in time. Hit the wall awkwardly and was holding his knee. Trainer came out, he was down for at least a minute. Then he got up, walked a bit, and then jogged to first. He stayed in. Very strange.

He homered off Kershaw in Spring Training, for whatever that's worth. I'd like to see him more, that's for sure. -
Yeah, can't say we're using hindsight at all. Plenty of people thought that was stupid when it was happening.

And yeah, ship out McClendon tomorrow for Fiers or somebody. It's not that difficult.

Bullpen isn't gassed at all. Loe/Veras/KROD/Axford are all fresh. You wouldn't use the guys you used yesterday in a tie game anwyay.
