April has been so... Cardinals. Just typical Cardinals, with guys playing over their abilities. Westbrook, Lynn, and Lohse pitching out of their heads. Lynn I can understand, but not really Lohse, and especially Westbrook. Westbrook is garbage. This can't keep up, but it sure is annoying.

Man. Why not be happy that Gomez is producing against lefties and leave it alone? Playing him against righties seems to be a great way to cool him off.

Bo is really taking some flak for blocking him from several schools. I wish we could here more about this, because he really isn't coming off in a positive light to this point.

The funny thing is his candid nature made him a great analyst. I really liked him on ESPN (just about their lone bright spot among baseball analysts). Doesn't work as well as a manager.

Is this the quickest a manager has ever lost a team? It wasn't even through Spring Training when there were already rumblings of trouble in paradise between Bobby V and the front office. Then, about a week into the season, he publicly throws an established player under the bus. Not a Roenicke fan, but at least stuff like this never happens with him. Many wanted Valentine here, and I admit I was intrigued by the possibility. He definitely misplayed this though, and it's already blowing up in his face. Someone needs to tell him to stop talking to the media, but it's already too late, really.

Hairston would have been great. I'd rather have him splitting time with Green at third and backing up everywhere else than Ramirez. I don't get Ishikawa either, but I don't expect him to be here long. Really, I think just the last few spots have room for improvement, but I don't think there's a team in MLB you couldn't say that for. -
Ellsbury out at least six weeks. Just read that they'd like a left-hander. Wonder what they'd trade for Morgan?

I don't disagree, but K-Rod was all over the place, so he was probably worried about walking in a run. I was more annoyed with bunting Kottaras.
