  1. In 2008 most places I went prioritized the Brewers over the Packers, especially on that final day which was a Sunday. The house I was at would occasionally check the Packers during the commercials, but that's it. This is because these games do not matter for the Brewers. They are going to the playoffs. The only thing in doubt is who they will play; that's not enough suspense to get someone to skip the opening game for the defending champs on a national stage.
  2. Like all the series lately--just win one game and all will be fine.
  3. It doesn't feel like it, but it's only a two-run game. Far from over.
  4. If the Brewers didn't have such a massive lead, I'd be very angry about this Rafael Furcal stuff.
  5. Oh my God the bar is BarNone and Bill pronounced it "Bar-known"
  6. Yeah. Plus the teams look stupid when half the fans aren't wearing gold. I don't understand doing this for a virtually meaningless regular season game. Do this for a playoff game.
  7. I've seen the Cirillo comparison a lot. I'm excited about Green, but maybe the Cirillo thing is a bit much still. Cirillo was a scratch defender, and by reports, Green is fine but not special..

  9. I suddenly have MLB Network on Dish. No idea when that happened, but I'll take it.
  10. Ugh at having to have faith in Francisco Cordero.

  12. For as bad as Braun's routes and instincts are, he can sure make some impressive catches.
  13. This strike zone is just like any other. Crappy.
  14. Schroeder is terrible. Holliday crushes the ball, like the seventh crushed ball by the Cardinals today, and the first thing he says is "Holliday wasn't running. He thought he hit it out." Who on Earth cares? He would have had a double anyway if he was running. It literally makes no difference. Talk about Wolf getting shelled and stop being such a homer.
  15. Come on walk him... Hart on deck. Red light here 3-1.
