So this game is blacked out, only available on ESPN? My MLB.TV subscription is saying that. Anybody else out of market having the same problem? I don't subscribe to those big-box streaming services for live tv.

Ha. That was me. I was messing around when Trout moved over to RF. Didn’t see a CF on the roster (Adell and Moniak are a stretch). I like Rengifo as a plug and play decent hitter in multiple spots. Wish he had more control though.

Vinny Capra survives the entire off season on the 40 man. No options. Maybe he is our 3B.

Axford was a fun player on the team, loved the Ax Man. It would be nice to see Freddy make this, but I don't think he gets there without some kind of extension. He will be traded before hitting that mark unfortunately.

I was thinking about Cronenworth, flexibility for 1B/2B/3B (came up as a SS). No idea how good his defense is - annual salary isn't overly terrible ($11m - $12m) - but dang that contract is long. Don't want to commit that much over the next 6 years for a decent but not great player.

Alex Cobb getting $15m for 1 year is crazy. Makes me wonder what is wrong with Colin Rea, that nobody wanted him at $5.5m.

Don't think the Mets need another defense first CF, they already traded for Siri to pair with TT....unless they can move Marte or something.

I am a fan of Mauricio - think the D is good enough, has power, would fit really well. Wouldn't mind a lower-level pitching prospect to come with him too. Bohm is ok - just don't like the current asking price the Phillies are trying to get for him. Jung's defense is brutal - he was getting pulled in games because it was so bad. Maybe its better at 2B, but wouldn't think to move Turang off of position for him.

One thing I was reading over the weekend, the Phillies are open to Bryce Harper moving back to OF...and he wants to move back out there again. Maybe we make them happy - give them their beloved Hoskins back and we take Bohm off their hands. The values don't match at all so I am sure other parts would need to happen to make this viable.

I could see the Brewers playing third wheel again and getting Bohm in the Phillies and White Sox trade. Kind of like how we got Contreras. Phillies get Crotchet. Brewers get Bohm. Sox get Crawford and Black and other smaller pieces. Something along those lines.

Any pre-arb guys you see not getting tendered today? I am thinking guys on the 40 man without options like Vinny Capra. Like what is the point on keeping him unless he is going to compete with Mono for the UTIL role.

Burger would be interesting but not for that price. Not sure his defense is good enough for 3B either. And no, Hall isn’t going anywhere.
