Ask Stearns and Counsell.
-
Counsell has really done a poor job this season. Admittedly the injuries have left this team in a tough situation but the manager has not helped things at all.
-
Him and George Costanza can both go.
-
Its throwing in the towel. Just a gross week for this team.
-
Josh Bell looks like the only one available and the bidding will be steep. We will probably add guys more on the level of Escobar like we did last trade deadline.
-
Wong should not be pinch hitting for anyone. Let him go back to St Louis.
-
3-3 at home against the Cubs and pirates is pretty bad but 2-4 is just disgusting. Come on guys go win this one.
-
I know others will disagree and that’s fine but just getting into the playoffs isn’t enough anymore. I for one want to win a championship and anything less will be a bitter disappointment.
-
We may or may not make the playoffs due to our competition in this awful division but any team that would face us in the playoffs would be quite thrilled to see this team in the opposing dugout.
-
That would require Chourio being in the deal and that’s a definite no from the Brewers.
-
I’ll trade lineups with the Padres but you are right about Tampa if you consider them a contender.
-
Good thing we play in a division with one other mediocre team and three others that are terrible.
-
He’s going to play every day and hit at the top or middle of the lineup and it’s one of the many reasons why this lineup is the worst amongst the contending teams.
-
Lucroy
-
Yeah maybe if you have a time machine available.
-
We didn’t draft Brinson either.
-
Have you noticed that he has played every single game he has been available. If we trade for an outfielder I wouldn’t be against waiving McCutchen altogether.
-
Other than Hiura and Taylor we have no home grown position players.
-
Does any contending team have a more laughable 3-4-5 in a lineup than Tellez-McCutchen-Wong.
-
At least we have the top of the lineup for the 9th if thats a good thing.
-
Davis can go back to AAA any day now
-
Time for a nice comeback win.
-
Two mediocre teams that are lucky to be playing in such a terrible division.
-
Have to rack up the wins against teams like this because the schedule will toughen up while the cardinals will be facing these garbage teams.
-
CC has gone from not giving the starters any rope in previous seasons to now waiting too long to take them out.
