  1. Stop with the single emoji responses. Why don't you guys just ignore each other? You're right. My apologies and done deal.
  2. You can ignore. You think you're right. I know you're wrong and I don't think either one is going to back down so do what I'm doing, just walk away.
  3. Who cares how you get the runs so long as you get them. Your premise that there is only one way to create offense is just wrong. Offense is not the problem with this team. Worst in baseball at scoring the the runner at 3rd with less than 2 outs a problem. Worst in baseball with the bases loaded a problem. Virtually never manufacturing runs a problem. How many more wins with just a modicum of success in those areas? Probably marginal at best. I'd bet that notion would be hard to prove one way or the other.
  4. Not if we had a lefty who was even remotely effective vs lefties. Shaw/Thames have pretty brutal splits if I remember correctly. Almost to the point it can’t be worse... True, but worse than 2019 Aguilar?
  5. Somebody less lazy than me will probably look it up but I wonder what his strand rate is. Seems like he lets a lot of inherited runners to score but that might not be accurate.
  6. Better than walking in multiple runs. At least they earned it. Yeah middle middle FBs should be every pitch. Works for Burnes. Huh? Yeah, walk every one, much better. Jeeesh.
  7. Who cares how you get the runs so long as you get them. Your premise that there is only one way to create offense is just wrong. Offense is not the problem with this team.
  8. That patient, contact oriented offense has scored 55 less runs than our reckless hackers. I'll take the 288 runs over 233 regardless. Yes. No doubt. Pirates devoid of power, less Bell of course. They need a lot our power, we need a little of their contact. Pitching injuries killing them right now though. If they got "a lot" of our power wouldn't that make them home run reliant....which is your complaint about the Brewer lineup? i mean you can keep on pounding this narrative about the offense but it really doesn't make much sense. The fact that a large percentage of their runs are scored off of home runs is because they hit so many dang home runs. If you hit as many home runs as they do a large portion of their runs are necessarily going to come from home runs.
  9. I get that the error extended the inning but Woodruff can't fall apart just because that throw was off a bit. Woodruff is costing us the runs.
  10. Exactly. That dude gets it. A guy being a professional and saying the right thing doesn't make your point valid. He knows he got shafted on those pitches. He's being a professional in his response. Yeah, it actually does.
