  1. I was going to say the same thing, Bailey is 1-10 too. Not like record really matters, but it makes me feel better regardless They are hitting though. It won't be as easy as some think.
  2. I'm sure we'll have cases of data by then end of the year that CC can used to tweak that "out of the box" in game managing.
  3. Had never actually seen one of those until we were up there a week ago or so. We didn't go in.......
  4. I was thinking more of a guy who goes to Brewer games just so he can get drunk and complain about everything. [sarcasm]Favorite Hobby: Driving around looking for lawns to report to the HOA.[/sarcasm]
  5. So does Rock not think we are "down the stretch" right now?
  6. Yaz reminds me of when one of my kids gets completely unhinged over something incredibly irrational. All you can do is laugh.
  7. But yah know...Lyles will get multiple innings in a tight game. Then Counsell so focused on saving Hader/Jeffress is going to blow through both of them today even though his starter has mostly cruised through 6 innings. Not even give Chacin one batter...but Lyles has a whole second inning no matter the struggle. My oh my. I've defended CC on the pen management and I really don't have a problem with him in general but it does seem the bullpen usage has become more and more strange as the season has progressed. I can't argue against those that have an issue with it.
  8. Cain looks like he collided head on with a dump truck. Thames and his rebound into the wall gets me.
  9. Agreed. I was certainly skeptical of that signing as well.
  10. That's what I thought. Very game appropriate though.
  11. Then I'm sure you will soon be contributing something insightful to get us back on the proper track. I'll wait.
  12. Sure, Nelson coming back at full strength would be a huge lift as would Darvish coming back for the Cubs. However, neither player coming back changes nothing. The Cubs are already better, adding Darvish means they are still better. The Cubs losing Lester or the Brewers gaining Nelson would have far more impact.
  13. Admittedly I was pushing for Darvish a bit, but that turned out to be a disaster and would have been a huge mistake for the Brewers.
  14. They have been better than us with out him. Oh, I forgot we never play the Cubs or Darvish. That surely wouldn’t even effect their wild card chase either then. The guy hasn't pitched since May. He hasn't been any part of the equation for some time now. Don't know why him continuing to not be a part of he equation would change anything for anyone.
  15. Big hit by Moose. Now lets hope the pitching doesn't immediately give those runs back.
  16. But he did and the depth has been exposed. The future isn't "just fine" if standing pat and hoping Nelson comes back in full is what everything is leaning on.
  17. They need to upgrade catcher but assuming Moose is gone and Schoop isn't, the infield is pretty set with Shaw, Arcia, Schoop and Aguilar. Yelich and Cain are set in the OF. Maybe a LH bat to play right. Perez, Pina, Braun on the bench. The bullpen has some good pieces that they can add on to so not worried there. They have got to find starting pitching. I know we have a bunch of mid to back of the rotation arms but everyone of them is just as likely to have a bad game as a good game on any given day. They need a stopper, someone they can rely on to give them a good start 90% of the time. I could live with acquisition, acquisition, burns chacin, anderson going into next year with Peralta and Woodruff as the the next two up. I don't think they are that far away.
  18. It's inescapable at this point. They have done this to the point that this is who they are. Unfortunately that means I stop investing dollars until they prove otherwise.
  19. They had better hope Burnes and Peralta have learned enough to be successful in the rotation next year.
  20. He will be on the team and he will probably have a great year and then walk after the team disappoints and fails to make the playoffs.
