  1. So far in this thread I've read that Broxton isn't as bad as I think, the rotation isn't as bad as I think and Braun isn't as bad as I think. You'd THINK that this team was winning some games or we have hit the mother load of bad luck.
  2. Nice win last night but not much has changed. The team is still trending the wrong way. I hope they don't overreact in the trade market.
  3. Prior to today Brewers starting pitchers were 13th in FIP based WAR & 7th in runs allowed based WAR. Their struggles have been overstated, especially considering they were projected around the 20th best rotation prior to the season. My guess is that those numbers have a) been trending the wrong direction and b) they have been somewhat shielded by being taken out of games early. It may not be the worse rotation in the league, but it isn't a good one.
  4. That won’t solve anything. Woodruff isn’t that good He’s arguably our second best pitching prospect still. He hasn’t been great in the majors this year, but to say he isn’t any good is a very short sighted comment. He hasn't been all that bad.
  5. Even so, After today he has a 4.80 ERA. He isn't good.
  6. That won’t solve anything. Woodruff isn’t that good He's better than the batting practice pitcher that Suter is.
  7. Fails? He hit a rocket. Yelich was clutch tho with his hit! No luck there at all.
  8. They've all pretty much been good all year, it's just that they all seem to have one blowup inning every start and settle down after that. There isn't any difference between giving up five runs in one inning and giving up one run in each of five innings. It still sucks.
  9. Take out the missed pop fly and he has given up 5 hits in less than 2 innings. That is bad. Make that 6 These aren't dinks and dunks either.
  10. No, not all because of that. He's getting thrashed like a rag doll. Just because your defense makes a mistake doesn't mean it's ok to get shelled. I'd say it's all because he isn't very good.
  11. Even with the injuries we have better options. Suter should not be a regular member of a starting rotation.
  12. So we don't get home (Oshkosh) as often as we would like but we will be there the firs week of August. On the 9th we are going to try and pull off the Brewers/Packers daily double. Any advice?
  13. A good reminder that having a TOR starter isn't a guarantee of success. I'll still take one.
  14. "Anderson looked good after the 1st". Yeah, except that time he had to be pulled with the bases loaded a no one out.
  15. Knebel sucks! Knebel Sucks! Knebel Sucks! KNEBEL SUCKS!!!!!!!!
  16. I think folks riding high horses while being judgemental in glass houses are stupid, but hey.
