So much for Anderson having trouble with this lineup. Very nice start.

Man, if he is traded, I certainly have mixed feelings. I REALLY like him - he seems like a great kid, his defense is great, and I just feel like if he can get something to click with his hitting, he could be a very good major leaguer. But his hitting at the big league level is just terrible and he's shown little signs of anything actually clicking (though to be fair, he hasn't had consistent AB's). Probably "hello" hugs since he just got back.

And doing that all with 0 BB in the month of July. That is right 0 BB. Oh and going back all the way to June 24 Schoop has a total of 1 BB. Since June 1 he has 8 BB and 1 IBB. So over about 2 months he has a total of 8 BB and 1 IBB. Are you sure you really want someone like Schoop. I seem to remember you harking on the team not being patient enough at the plate. Schoop is anything but patient he is more closer to Villar and Arcia than he is Yelich or Cain. Actually a better comp is probably Perez with more power. I don't see Schoop repeating what he did last year any more than I think Villar can reproduce his 2016 season. Yeah, I'd prefer just Gausman to be honest. Give me Gausman, Dozier and one more under the radar pen arm and lets go to war. Doubt it happens though.

We say this on a daily basis. Let's just say umpires' strike zone interpretation sucks. The umpire sucks at interpreting the strike zone?

At the end of the day, it really is all about the production. However, luck has always been a part of the game and that is why statistics exist. Not to excuse the lack of production but to help explain why. They help us understand if a player really is regressing or really is experiencing bad luck. In my opinion, to just look at the production and not even consider the underlying reasons is just lazy.

Oh man you are nuts. I have Anderson on my team, no way would I risk starting him tonight. This is the type of team that will go on a hit parade against Anderson. I don't like our outlook tonight. The Giants aren’t a very good offense, why do you think it’s a bad matchup for Anderson? It isn't a bad match up for Anderson, at least not in that park.
