  1. https://lombardiave.com/updated-packers-cap-space-should-concern-nfl-2025. Ahem.......
  2. Easy pass on Hill. He's basically a 1 trick pony, who's a borderline headcase, and doesn't usually play well in the cold.
  3. I understand, though the opportunity for targets wouldn't mean much, because if Love isn't accurate enough to get them the ball on a regular basis, their #'s would suffer because of that. Love seems slightly above average, but not by much, imo. The cold weather here, is always something free agents ponder, when deciding if they want to sign here.
  4. Not all players automatically go for the $. Some do actually value winning a SB more. Plus, if they're not sold on Love, it would definitely be a factor they consider before deciding which team to sign with, because if Love doesn't play great, they know their #'s will likely suffer because of it too.
  5. Until they make a deep run in the playoffs with Love as QB, imo, they can't truly be considered legit contenders
  6. He's constantly hurt, because he needs to start eating some serious amounts of calories, and gain weight & muscle.
  7. Doubs was a day 3 pick(4th rd). That's not high-ish.
  8. The only people out there who think Doubs is a legit #1, are probably residents at the Winnebago Mental Heath facility.
  9. I didn't say anything about them being scared of being beat out. Most top WR types will almost certainly prefer to sign with a team that's a serious contender to win a SB, and with a veteran QB.
  10. Cap restrictions isn't just an excuse. It's a real thing that teams HAVE to think about.
  11. That shouldn't be difficult to do, because GB will be about $65M under the salary cap. I think the main problem, could be coaxing a top WR to sign with such a young team.
  12. You really don't understand that there's a thing called a salary cap, and going out and signing veteran players isn't always feasible every single year? Really?
  13. Other than because their salaries are usually much higher than rookies/2nd yr players who may be more gifted athletes, what's another main reason veteran players are usually chose as starters over young players? It's because NFL front offices & coaching staffs know that veteran players are much less likely to make stupid mistakes on the field, because they've been there before. Again, this isn't a new concept.
  14. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10150646-nfl-insider-expect-packers-to-be-in-the-tee-higgins-hunt-after-loss-to-eagles Looks like it's possible that the Packers agree about Higgins.
  15. They did sign some veterans before this past season, and they were still the youngest team in the league, so what's that tell you? Who ever said they weren't rebuilding? They traded away their HOF QB(just 2 years ago), and went with a completely unproven QB. Still doesn't change the fact that experience almost always trumps athletic ability. Not sure why some people have a difficult time realizing and understanding that? It's not a new concept.
  16. Experience trumps athletic ability on the field, the majority of the time. It's no secret. Veteran players make less mistakes on the field than young players, by a large margin. Did you not see how horrible the replacements for Jenkins tonight were?
  17. You would? The vast majority of true football fans would disagree. Pretty much every GM would definitely disagree.
  18. It means very little? There's a reason why teams with more seasoned veteran players, almost always have better results than teams that are extremely young. Especially in the playoffs.
  19. My point is, Higgins is widely thought of around the NFL, as having #1 WR talent. It's talked about quite regularly on pretty much every sports discussion shows/podcasts. He would be the #1 WR on most teams in the league.
  20. That's comparing apples to oranges. Completely different sport.
  21. That's only because Chase is there too. Higgins is a #1 caliber WR.
  22. It's blatantly obvious that we need a TRUE #1 WR in a major way. Go get Higgins Gute!
  23. They're the youngest team in the league. It shouldn't be a surprise.
