  1. Your usage of "yuge" is a dig, isn't it? Lol
  2. Yeah, uh-huh, ok. You should probably look up the definition. What they keep telling our fan base, pretty much every year, is a form of it. It's the equivalent of dangling a carrot on a stick, and when we get hungry and reach for it, they purposely move it further away.
  3. I've said many times before, that I completely understand that we're a small market, and can't spend like the big boys, but making a bigger move or 2 once in a while would at least point to them actually trying to make a deep run, or actually get to the WS. Can't win a WS, if we never get there again. We have a deep farm system, so why not use it once in a while? Like the Orioles have, for instance? MLB definitely needs a hard salary cap, but we all know that will never happen.
  4. I never said making trades always works out for the better. But not making any attempts to get us over the top, surely doesn't make them look like they're trying to get any better. All I ask, is if they're basically never gonna make moves, when it's looking like we can seriously make a deep run, then stop telling our fan base that they are.
  5. Again, when will simply making the playoffs stop being enough to pacify our fan base? I'm not sure how we can be considered "viable contenders", when they won't try to make a move or 2 to possibly get over the hump, even with a stacked farm system. I guess, you believe what you want, and I'll do the same.
  6. There's been times within the past several years, where Milwaukee was much more competitive than most people believed they'd be, probably including themselves, and looked like they could make a deep playoff run. Then when the trade deadline came around, they wouldn't make a move or 2 or 3 to try and make a meaningful attempt to make the team better, like pretty much every playoff team does. Saying they want to bring a WS championship to Milwaukee is pure lies and gaslighting. Especially the past few years, when we finally had/have a stacked minor league system, that affords them to make a trade or 2, but they won't.
  7. It's unbelievable, how many fans conveniently forget how many times, since MA and his group bought the team, has said their intentions are to bring a WS championship to Milwaukee. That is definitely gaslighting.
  8. Am I the only one, who thinks it's weird that this has only garnered 5 pages of comments? With how much Ueck meant to this franchise, I'd have thought this would have at least 20 pages by now.
  9. Exactly. The whole "bites at the apple" shtick that our fan base is constantly told to believe is "going for it", is nothing but pure gaslighting. The only way I see the Crew having a chance at a WS title, is if other playoff teams have their star players get injured right before the playoffs, or miraculously crap the bed out of nowhere, which isn't likely to happen. I completely understand that we're a small market, and can't afford to spend like the large market teams, but then the front office needs to stop pretending, and actually go for it once in a while.
  10. MLB needs a hard salary cap NOW! SMDH 🤮
  11. So our only chance of actually "going for it", and "bringing a WS championship to Milwaukee", hinges on pure luck, and always will? It's about time someone else on here finally admits it, instead of a certain select few of us on here.
  12. I'd be all for it. The problem though, is it's pretty much a certainty that MA will never allow it.
  13. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  14. Sorry to hear about your dad. I completely understand what you went through. My mom was given a month to live, the day she was told she had stomach cancer. 28 days later, she was gone. RIP Mom 😪. Again....F*** CANCER!!
  15. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. F*** CANCER!!!
  17. His reactions to HR,'s always gave me goosebumps. Man, this sucks. 😪
  18. They say what type of cancer? Not that it matters, just curious.
  19. RIP Ueck. 😮‍💨 The GOAT.
  20. Not wrong at all actually. You read where it says GB is, and I quote, "SET to have $63M in cap space"? Not the $40M that you said.
  21. Just like how what you think, is only just your opinion.
  22. I'd bet big $$ though, that my opinion is in the majority. I think like most fans, and are biased towards Love, because he plays for Green Bay.
  23. I said it, so of course it's only my opinion. That's common sense.
  24. Let's see this proof please. I believe that's just your opinion.
