  1. I don't think I've ever seen so many fans that absolutely refuse to criticize their favorite team, at all. That's just being unrealistic, imo. They don't walk on water. Does that group of fans here meet once a month somewhere and sing and hold each other's hands? While hoping and praying we get lucky and actually win a WS? I'm a person of action, and some people aren't I guess.
  2. I've already explained that. You're late to this conversation.
  3. I've literally said that very thing several times. In other news, looks like Yelich may have also taken a little dig towards our FO and ownership group. https://x.com/FlippinBatsPod/status/1883975469491728440?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1883975469491728440|twgr^0fdc34a5ba21ff908ad9ee4b249e6dd022ea7451|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Freviewingthebrew.com%2Fchristian-yelich-may-have-taken-subtle-dig-at-brewers-ownership-he-is-100-right
  4. So anyone with a different opinion than you, is a troller? That's just flat out comical.
  5. They do that repeatedly? I'm talking about Yelich type moves. Not constant trades trying to catch lightning in a bottle. I understand some fans don't want to risk losing a prospect or 3 that end up being really good. There's always risk of that happening though. Have to be willing to take risks sometimes, to get try and get better now. Look at the Yelich deal for instance. We gave up 3 very high position prospects of ours, and a pretty good pitching prospect for him. The only one that sort of panned out, was Yamamoto. The other 3 pretty much sucked. We ended up with the current face of our franchise, MVP, etc.
  6. Trolling? Seriously? Whatever.
  7. You truly believe that? If it's true, then they must have expected to get him for little to nothing in return.
  8. Would much rather have a better shot at a championship. Wouldn't you? After all, that what organizations tell their players and fan bases they strive for, right?
  9. I'm done with this conversation.
  10. Nope. It was obvious when they traded him, he was the typical 4A player. Imagine what they probably could have got for Wiemer a year or 2 before that. As far as Crochet, we have plenty of highly thought of prospects, that they probably could have got him last year already, but I highly doubt they even inquired about him.
  11. Still don't need all of them though. I'm not implying they should trade away our whole minor league system. Our system is definitely deep enough though, that they can afford to trade a few of them to try and get better now.
  12. Some of the ones that other teams are interested in, of course. There's plenty of them I'm sure. I mean, how many SS and CF prospects do we really need? You believe what you want, and I'll believe what I want. True baseball fans know that the % of MLB prospects that actually make it to the majors, is pretty low. Even 1st rd picks, compensatory picks, 2nd rd, etc. That shouldn't be a new concept.
  13. What did I say that's not true? It's a fact, that most of our, let's say top 20 prospects will never make it to Milwaukee, or another team. It's been talked about on this site even, many times, how the majority of MLB prospects never make it to the majors. Lol you just only think of other people's statements 1 way. Your way.
  14. No. You're not reading it correctly. I said obviously not all of our higher prospects will make it to Milwaukee, so they might as well trade a few here and there before some either get injured or hit their ceiling and lose trade value, to try and get the Brewers over the hump now. It was pretty self explanatory. You were way off.
  15. And I answered your question. Have a good night. There's no feel about it. We have been. I just acknowledge it, and others choose not to.
  16. I've always rooted for the Crew, and always will. I was born and raised here, and lived here my whole life. So fans aren't allowed to criticize their favorite teams? Really?
  17. Wrong. Why does almost everyone here always think making moves to try and get over the hump, means adding boatloads of salary? I've said many times now, that since they've had a deep farm system for several years now, I'm beyond frustrated that they basically refuse to make a significant move by using it, to try and get better. Maybe if you actually read all of my comments, and actually tried to understand my point somewhat, instead of just rapidly scanning through them in a hurry to respond, you'd know ive said that many times.
  18. Wow. I wish I was still in my early to mid 20's. Lol
  19. Yes. Blind faith. That's exactly what many people on here rely on, year after year, the get pissed when they're bounced in their first playoff series.
  20. No. Several years ago, I already came to terms with the likely outcome, of Milwaukee never winning a championship. Their chances of winning one, are about a 1%.
  21. They've had a deep farm system for more than the past 2 years. I have absolutely no problem trying to understand other people's opinions here, but it's been obvious for a while now, that there's a big group here that are completely closed minded to the opinions of mine and a couple others on here. They refuse to even attempt to understand, and and get all hot and bothered every time their opinions are challenged.
  22. I'm mainly tired of them not using the deep farm system we've had for a few years now. At all. Not all of our higher prospects will make it to Milwaukee, so they might as well try using some to get better now, before some get injured or fizzle out, and lose pretty much all of their trade value.
  23. Hindsight is always 20/20. Adames was a high rated prospect coming up, but was sort of underwhelming once in the majors, and even though Contreras showed promise in Atlanta, it wasn't a given that he would continue to get better.
  24. I didn't misunderstand anything they've said. What they've claimed time and time again since MA and the ownership group took over, that they intend to bring a championship to Milwaukee, definitely isn't being proven by their actions. They've made 1 big trade(the Yelich deal), and absolutely nothing since. Even with a very deep farm system for a few years now. Like I said, if some fans want to keep having blind faith, that's their right. I will not. Their words mean nothing, and their actions mean EVERYTHING. In their case though, it's their lack of actions.
  25. You and others here can keep having blind faith. That's your right. I will not though, because I'm sick of having high hopes going into the season, then experience more disappointment when they promptly get bounced in the playoffs.
