    MLB has named each of the team representatives for the televised portion of the draft on ESPN2. Not sure if this has been posted somewhere or if this is even the right place, but I thought it would be of interest. Milwaukee: Gord Ash, Tony Diggs, Wil Inman I'm not as familiar with the inner workings of the organization as some of you guys so I had to dig a little, but Tony Diggs is the assistant director at the player development/training center.     Oh come on guys, we all know that nobody thinks bad of a Stanford squatter.. Anyways, I've sat in on a class at a friend's college while visiting and had nothing to do during the day. It was a big enough lecture that I was unnoticed - just did a crossword and pretended to care.

    I have a difficult time understanding the "are you a true ace?" test as well. What is Sheets supposed to differently tonight than in any other game in which he pitches in order to stop this streak? Conversely, if he has some sort of mystical power that allows him to put an end to losing streaks, why wouldn't he do the same when the team is on a 6 game winning streak? If there ever was to be a true 'test' for an ace it would be a measure of his consistency - pitching well regardless of the circumstances (home/away, weather, winning/losing streak).

    Just came back from my first Brat Fest. Was there for about 15 minutes, ate two brats, and came home. Pretty much what I expected I suppose.

    I can beat most of the songs on expert pretty handily, but can't get past some of the ridiculous ones towards the end. I think it's mainly because ever since I taught myself how to play the original Guitar Hero, I've been a one-way strummer. I think this far into my GH career it would be too difficult to try to learn to strum two-ways - kind of like how you can't ask most hitters to start switch-hitting in the prime of their careers.

    First time visit to the Statistical Analysis forum, btw. I feel in over my head, but I'll try my best to contribute. I agree with Fike, as well as many of the opinions already expressed. I don't think there's a measure of 'clutchness', but I think you have to be wary of players that act differently in pressure situations - as in their hitting mechanics change or their delivery gets out of sync or something. I dont think there's a way to measure this other than daily observation by coaches/scouts.

    ?? I think you must have misunderstood what I was trying to say, or I should have been more clear. He criticized Ann Carroll by calling her r*etarded, which is wrong enough as it is. He then noted aloud that the otherwise unoffensive word is censored, when the whole reason why the board disallows the word is because people use the word inappropriately as an insult, as he clearly exhibited. To me, this is something worth calling him out on.

    Division lead now down to 4.5 after this loss Will the Brewers pull this one out? Not likely considering the way they've been playing today. However, I still think it's poor form to put a loss on the scoreboard before it happens.

    This is the ultimate embarassment for a team that had a chance to prove themselves against some tough teams on the road. If Hamels no hits us, we become the butt of jokes for at least a little while again. I hate this. I think at this point Hamels is throwing so well that you can't pin this one on the Brewers and call it an embarassment. It's been said earlier, but he's not exactly a no-namer.

    I think the only thing worse than Klements commercials are Jimmy John's. At least I enjoy Klements products..JJ makes some bland sandwiches, IMO.
