    You might be suffering from your long unemployment more than anything. Hard to believe a law degree would not be able to garner you a job, and that might be what employers are thinking. You might want to either get any job just to get rid of that or come up with an excuse (writing a novel, health, caring for a sick parent) and put that in your cover letter.

    As Bill Maher said, if you have great cleavage, guys wouldn't notice you didn't have a head. She has a full season package, she moved up from row 4 or 5 since she usually came alone and they had a single in the front row.

    I have been talking about this for months. They offered Prince over $20M a season, and though they have spent some of that on Rickie's extension, Mark A will at least offer it again, or maybe even bump it up a tad. Reyes is not as good, but because he's a SS and most SS's suck, is close to as good if you compare the two "how many runs above average." And, he won't cost as much, in salary or years. And, though many doubt whether Gamel will be given a chance, the Crew has no one to play SS every day under contract. As with any FA, I doubt it will happen, but it sure makes sense.

    That play he made in the 9th would have been missed by many SS's. It was a do or die pick. His range is below average, and he makes errors on routine throws from time to time, but his glovework has been solid. As with any of a dozen plays last night, it's why they're still playing.

    I barely knew Paul, Todd, but that was a shocker. I could only wish to be in as good a shape as him too.

    Tristar, you being a female, don't seem to understand what effect cleavage has on men. She's older than me and extremely attractive. That's a marketing dream.

    It is astounding that so many people refuse to enjoy the journey. It's like being on a flight with topless supermodels and spending the entire flight online looking up places you're going to visit when you land.

    This is why it's so easy to make fun of scouts. They sometimes can't seem to see the forest for the trees. They're vital and necessary, but some seem like they worry about the little things while ignoring the big things. When I saw Moneyball, by far the biggest laugh in the whole movie was when the scout said "His girlfriend is ugly," and went on to say it meant he lacked confidence. Worrying about all that other stuff is why Doug was able to get Morgan for a song. As soon as someone says anything other than how good they hit, pitch, or field, tell them we'd rather win and shut up.

    I have a piece ready to go at Ramblings, waiting for the season to end so someone reads it. There are a dozen FA SS's that are decent options for next year, and some will be very pricey, and some will not. You don't need to look at AAA, there are plenty of options available. I don't have Yuni in the top ten, based on projections both offense and defense.

    Liability. If someone has an issue after the security has gone home, they can say they told everyone to leave.

    The Brewers could make deals with Marquette, UW-Milwaukee, the Wave, Admirals, Rattlers, and Bucks, along with other entities just like FSW. I think the Twins' channel was going to show ESPNews when nothing else was on. The problem is, no cable/sat provider is going to pay for two local sports channels unless they have to, so FSW and BN could not both exist, it would be one or the other. The Twins now get far more money from FSN than they did before, so it was worth it for them.

    I'm taller than Roco, but I'd love to get down to his weight. I begin anew tomorrow. Hoping to begin the new year a lot lighter.

    The first few rows of terrace are labeled obstructed views and are not sold until all other seats are gone. Depending on your height and leanings, you might be hindered by the rails.

    He did sign a new deal starting in '13 a year or two ago, but no one knew the cash amount. Sounds like it's for far more. Maybe he talked of starting his own network.

    Pit bulls are a sad consequence of generations of inbreeding and selective breeding. Many are supposedly very nice dogs, but you never really know until they are in a situation of fear. I would never own one, nor would I want one anywhere around my dog or son. What's so rough is, people that defend these things like they are their own flesh and blood, and then blame others when they end up attacking someone or another dog. The math simply does not lie. They're a tiny portion of dogs and appear in far more incidents that that.

    As much as I hate the idea of making a trade and moving a bunch of guys around, where would you see Gamel starting "several days a week?" Corey and Andre would play 155 games if healthy. That leaves 3B.

    I did not hear Greinke was not there, but if he wasn't, let's not forget, he's just a weird duck. No one cares since he's good, but if he was just another guy, he'd bounce around and the talk behind his back would be loud, as it's far from quiet even though he's a plus SP. To be honest, I'm sure there were a few grumbles from players about this, as this was a day off, as tomorrow is a scheduled workout/media day.

    I believe that ticket system is Ticketmaster's, which the Brewers do not use. Since TM takes a cut, the Brewers will hold out until it's needed, I assume.

    I have appts for Friday AM, but not Friday afternoon. 1PM matinee for me.

    Philly has to play at night, they have football games in the daytime both days next door. BA did leak early start times for the Crew. Makes sense.

    Bill Buckner had a spectacular career, fell just short of HoF worthy. It was a shame that he was made out to be a bad player. Guys make errors all the time. Some hurt, some don't. You can't pick and choose. In all my years of softball, I never once made an error that led to a bunch of runs being scored. I played on lots of bad teams that gave up 8 runs in an inning with 2-3 errors committed. Just good luck for me, bad luck for Mr. Buckner.
