Great story. Couldn't imagine being rejected by so many organizations and continue to play with the confidence that you'll once see the majors. Didn't play his first MLB game until after he was 30. Easy guy to root for.

This was the last post on the previous page (may have been missed): Adam McCalvy @AdamMcCalvy Don’t know what specifically is barking or if it’s just the usual aches and pains, but Christian Yelich needed today, Craig Counsell said. They talked about making it Friday (LH Holland pitching for SF), but Counsell said it had to be today.

CC made it sound like he has something nagging him, so it may not be a choice. Tried to wait until Friday's game, but CC doesn't want to risk it. Not much you can do. Counsel seems to have a good pulse on positional players.

Jennings sprained an ankle in yesterday's game. Doubt he'll go on the DL since the rosters expand in a couple days, but that is speculation. As for QTC, I don't think the Brewers would trust him to take Jennings' role in the pen. I think he'll still get called up, but I doubt he'll pitch in meaningful innings.

That's what I thought too. The last game of the series would be his day to pitch though, so I'm assuming they messed that up.

Roark's last outing vs. Brewers: 8IP 3H 11K. From that game on, Roark's numbers have looked really good. Hope the bats are alive for this series.

And how important. To burn your entire pen, blow a 4 run lead, you're in a pennant race, morale wise it would have just been a devastating loss, but it wasn't. Hope Chacin is ready to throw 140 pitches tomorrow if need be.
