As of right now, I still think Shaw will be our 2B, at least against RHP.
-
He's played a couple games in his career at short. He's basically been locked in at 2nd his entire career.
-
I'm officially confused.
-
Freddy needs to pretend there are runners on to start ever inning. Channeling his inner Claudio Vargas.
-
Wasn't Brach already traded to Atlanta? He was.
-
Eric Sogard after seeing Saladino recently:
-
How is Posey not hitting .400 this year? What do other teams do to get his guy out? He's unreal.
-
He's pitched back to back days 7 times this year and 5 of 7 have been clean. Twice he's given up 1 run. Never a crooked number. If he gets out of this 6 of 8 scoreless. Look up stats before calling something ridiculous.... There was a question mark at the end of the sentence bro. Calm down Peter Gammons. Those seem pretty rhetorical and obviously you had nothing to back it up with. Just something to try to fit a narrative. You got caught with your pants down, just own it.
-
Braun just can't find a gap.
-
Yeah, thinking Shaw will demand a trade after this game.
-
Guys, it didn't hit the shinguard.
-
One is a little more justifiable than the other.
-
Looks like Sean Newcomb may get Hader'ed for old Tweets.
-
It's getting really bad. I would much rather see Nottingham or Bandy at this point. Something needs to be done.
-
Especially walking a pitcher that is trying to lay down a bunt. You could just lob it to the catcher.
-
I can’t believe anyone would call 37 straight fastballs, but I haven’t noticed Guerra shaking anything off. He shook off twice before the bases-clearing double. Not sure if he was shaking off pitches or trying to deke out Posey.
-
Maybe try something besides a fastball? Good grief.
-
Well this came out of nowhere...
-
Mound visit may be a good idea.
-
Opposite field, what a stroke! Is Braun getting hot at the right time?
-
CC No, I remember that. It was as play at first I believe. Gallaraga with the Tigers.
-
Dozier would not approve. Good thing he isn't a Brewer.
-
That was the first comp. that came to my mind in Curtis Granderson. Seems to fit that mold pretty well right now.
-
He will warm us up perfectly to the type of player Erceg is.
-
This wouldn't be done if CC and Stearns didn't have full confidence in Shaw playing 2nd. We won't be watching Rickie Weeks 2.0 out there.
