I blame the Cubs for not putting up a fight. What's Ashby supposed to do? Can't vulture a game when the outcome isn't in doubt. The one game he got into he tried his best to get the game tied so he could win it. -
Why? You don’t have to face three batters if you end an inning.

I was at the game last night. I heard "green bay sucks", not the f-bomb, to be precise. Maybe somewhere else in the stadium they were chanting the f-bomb. I was hearing "three day (something)" and couldn't figure out what they were saying for a while. And come on, the best Packer fans have come up with is "the bears still suck." It ain't Shakespeare.

The need for pro athletes as a group to manufacture disrespect and find a way to place a very large chip on their shoulders will always be amusing to me.

Brown has been really good against the Brewers. He threw 7 no-hit innings against them in 2024, He has a 2-0 record with an ERA of 1.00 and 19 strikeouts in 3 appearances (18 innings) versus the Brewers in his career.

This team has played very well against the good teams the last few years. Maybe someday I'll not worry about how tough an upcoming schedule looks; the team sure doesn't seem to worry about it.
