  1. His BBs are on a horrid pace. There have been at least 3 in the last 5 games where he swung on ball 4.
  2. Cain that was ball 4! Well that was 2 runs we blew. Yelich should have just hit a sac fly.
  3. Beware Phillies... first the pitcher now the catcher... who's next. Hiura is dangerous.
  4. Yeah bad glove hand by Hiura there but a slick pick and flip to Arcia to save the double play.
  5. Because numbers are weird... Game MVP, if not Yelich then Grandal in the lucky 6 hole.
  6. ? I logged into the MiLB forum first and checked the link report. For a few weeks now every time Hiura didn't start I'd say "put on your tinfoil hats" because I felt a number of people were on call up watch. If he's not playing in SA maybe he's getting called up. That was posted nearly every time. I logged into the MLB forum and saw the call up as the first link. Subsequently freaked out. Thought maybe it was a joke. Saw it wasn't, and freaked out more. And 92, watch it. Just because trading a valuable platoon bat, that we currently need, is a dumb idea doesn't give you the right to start stuff like you are trying above. You don't think Thames is valuable and he's not, but that also won't fetch anything in return. Not only is trading Thames a dumb idea but you also expect back unreasonable return. Compounding the dumb idea. Having a dumb opinion gets blow back and doesn't give you licence to drag flames throughout the whole board.
  7. I'm jacked about Hiura being up. Even saying that I don't see him in the 3 hole until next year. Grandal and Moose expire at years end so its very possible that next year we are looking at Cain Yelich Hiura Shaw Braun/Thames Aguilar/Gamel C and Arcia. I really hope we keep moose though. Cain Yelich Hiura LHP Braun Aguilar Moose C Arcia RHP Moose Shaw Gamel C Arcia Just looks better.
  8. I thought this board didn't allow porn? LIKE!!!!
  9. Logs into BF Minor league forum, link report, "Hey, SA played early." Hmmmm, no Hiura today, "lol put on your tin foil hats" Major league forum What! A Joke? Nope. NOPE! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I'm thrilled about this. The Braun AAA vs Hiura AAA. That spray chart. I wanted this move done 4 games ago. Only difference is Shaw IL not AAA. Must watch TV for the young gun. Only 1 complaint. CC should know the batter who produces bats in the 2 hole or the 6 hole this year. Hiura 7th... nah. Just put him in the 6th hole and watch that craziness continue.
  10. I said something nice about Erceg and the dude fell off a cliff. 3 of his last 29. 2bb at least he only K'd 5 times.
  11. In 2018 mke averaged 4.57 runs per game. In 2019 mke is averaging 4.72 runs per game. 3-4-5 hitters are batting: Sub .210 BA Sub .295 OBP Sub .670 OPS Moose Grandal Braun Thames and Gamel are hitting well above those numbers. As are Woodruff and Chacin. This nonsense can not last. The ERA is at 4.44 vs last years 3.65. However, it has dropped from 5.03 to 4.44 in the last 10 games. Jimmy Nelson and Chase Anderson are pitching in SA. .9 run diff = playoffs.... currently at .28... still 5 games over .500 which is on pace for 90 wins and that shouldn't be the case. The ERA is crashing down and huge gains can be made in run production when 3-4-5 stabilize. 5 runs and 3.9 earned is possible and 1.1 run diff = 100 wins.
  12. Lazar and Mediavilla can move up to Carolina Segovia, Zavolas, Hintzen and Andrews can go to Biloxi. Weston Wilson should be in SA. He can take Luke Barker with him. The only young player I'd move at this time is Lazar. He's dominating and I want to see if he can keep this up. Mediavilla Hintzen and Andrews are all college arms below AA they should be pushed. Zavolas at 23 should get a look in AA soon. File not that far behind him. Multiple OFs in AA are system fodder and can be pushed out. Wilson is deserving and Gatewood needs a clear path in AA. Barker might have found something. Ks are up, GO are up and at 27, lets see what he really has in AAA.
  13. Well at 43 games last year we were only 1 game better. On to the next, got to stop giving games away.
  14. Due for an inherited runner after a passed strike 3? Due for yet another guy we put in the OF who isn't one to blow a catch? He wasn't sharp by any means but 1 at the most should have scored there.
